The Ryka Women's Daydream Training Shoe in Navy Blue is your go-to sneaker for any high-impact workout. These shoes are tailored specifically for women, offering a unique fit that adapts perfectly to your foot shape, ensuring you have both comfort and performance as you push through those challenging classes.
What makes the Daydream shoe stand out is its innovative technology. The RE-ZORB® LITE responsive cushioning provides lightweight impact protection, effectively absorbing shocks with each step. This cushioning is further enhanced by an extra RE-ZORB base layer, which guarantees a soft landing during your dynamic movements. Made primarily from breathable mesh, these training shoes ensure your feet stay cool, even during the most intense sessions.

When it comes to high-intensity training, the Ryka Women's Daydream Training Shoe excels in providing the necessary support and cushioning. The RE-ZORB® LITE technology is particularly noteworthy; it allows for a responsive feel that doesn’t compromise safety during impacts, making it perfect for jumping and quick footwork. Many users have praised the anatomical insole, highlighting how the extra arch and heel support alleviates discomfort during prolonged wear.
The shoe's fit is another significant advantage. Designed specifically for women, it accommodates the common variations found in female foot shapes, such as a narrower heel and wider toe area. This focus on fit helps prevent blisters and discomfort, allowing you to concentrate on your workout rather than your footwear.
In terms of style, while there could be more color options, the sleek navy blue design is versatile enough to pair with various gym outfits. Additionally, the lace-up closure with an adjustable lacing system ensures that you can achieve a snug fit, which is essential for maintaining stability during rigorous exercises.
The only notable downsides include the potential sizing issues some customers experience—it's advisable to try them on or order a half size up if you're unsure. Furthermore, while durable, the shoe may not be ideal for ultra-marathon runners or those looking for maximum cushioning over extended distances, as it's primarily aimed at short to medium duration workouts.

The Ryka Daydream is a good-looking, cushioned sneaker. The foot shape of this model is my favorite of all the Ryka's I tried. It is snug in the arch and heel and roomy at the front of the shoe. It was also the most cushiony of the Ryka's I tried. Unfortunately, it felt too bulky for a Zumba sneaker, which is what I need at this time. For other activities, I think it would be fantastic.
I have been searching for shoes I can use for walking and everyday wear and decided to try Ryka shoes because they're made to fit a woman's food. I have neuropathy and also needed a shoe with a wider toe box. These shoes are really comfortable, good padding, lightweight, and give my feet plenty of support. I plan to look for other styles from Ryka.
Comfortable. Price reasonable. Toe box is narrow.
I purchased 6 pairs of Rykas, 2 Skechers, 1 Nike, Amazon and non-Amazon. This was the best of the bunch, so the others are being returned. I wear 7.5 - 8 range. I went with the 8. Very satisfied with the roomy toe box and that I can wear thicker athletic socks. Most importantly is that I could feel the arch support, which made them all the more comfortable.I loved the style of Ryka Vivid RZX, but the comfort of Daydream was more important. My only tweak is that I'm returning the black and instead buying the blue.Update: I received the blue pair. It's more like a blackish blue, than navy. It could pass for a black pair. I initially thought I received the wrong color, except the black has the pink bottom trim and the "navy" has the lavender bottom trim. Just something to keep in mind when deciding which color to purchase.
I love Ryka for Zumba. I usually wear the Influence shoe as the shape works so well with my foot (small taylor's bunion, which makes my foot slightly wide but not enough to order a wide sneaker). The Daydream has wonderful cushioning, which would make jumping moves so much easier on the knees. I didn't find the pivot points so great for turns like the Influence shoe. (Pro tip: Go to the shoe repair shop and get suede put on the front bottom of the Influence shoe to help for spins!) Anyway, the toe box and material on top were a bit too roomy for me with the Daydream, which made them slightly bulky (especially with toe pointing steps)in comparison to the Influence. I wish the Influence had more cushioning like the Daydream while keeping the Influence shape. Finding the right dance sneakers has been so hard for me. I have tried EVERYTHING! Going back to the Influence sneaker and just being mindful not to jump too much!
Quality of Rylan never disappoints. Third pair I purchased for CFit
These shoes are comfortable, true to size and light weight. But today is literally the 3rd time wearing them to the gym which is the only place i wear them and the tread is already separated from the ball of the shoe. Very disappointed. Not the best "training" shoes for working out doing HIIT.
Ever since my best friend introduced me to Rykas in 2017, I have never worn any other tennis shoes. Every pair of Rykas I’ve ever owned are comfortable right out of the box, and these are no exception. I teach elementary school and am on my feet almost all day, and I never have any discomfort. There really is something to be said about a shoe made specifically for women! I highly recommend these. I do find that I need to wear a W in Rykas, and I wear normal width in all other shoes, so keep that in mind (unless you have narrow feet). These are pretty too. I have the pair with the lavender accent, and my best friend has the pair with the pinkish color, and both colors look great!
