After 3 months of incredibly rough wear, I can say with certainty these are the best full leather boots available for women. I wore these every day while working in California in a National Forest repairing front and backcountry trails and roads that were damaged in the fires, and these held up amazingly. They were not only incredibly protective and supportive, but also very stylish and cute. Out of our crew of 6 and the many other Forest Service personnel I met in my time there, I think my boots performed the best while looking the best at the same time. They did suffer some damage on the inside heels of both insoles, but that’s likely due to multiple 10 hour days spent working/ hiking in water the entire day. Hiked Narrows in Zion NP in these and they worked great!! Took multiple tool blows and even though they aren’t composite toe they do a decent job at protecting from force. The vibram soles held up well, but did get smoothed out somewhat over the three months. Overall, I couldn’t have been more pleased with the quality of these boots, especially the price. I look forward to owning this pair for many years to come. If you’re even considering buying this boot, just do it, it’s worth it. Full leather hiking boots for women are very hard to find, and these check every single box.If there is anything to complain about, I will say there was a weird gap I guess in the sticging of the right toe box, the resulted in only my right big toenail being absolutely covered in dust at the end of the day, when every other toe would be clean. It happened every single day without fail, no matter what socks I wore. Nothing beyond very fine dust would get in, so there was no real issue.
My daughter LOVES these Rocky Boots! I have been a Rocky rocker for 20+ years and I finally bought her a pair and couldn't be happier!
Awesome looking... fits good..I like how they come with black boot strings also.. gives me choice..
I use these for work around the farm and so far they have been great. It did take a few good wearings to get the ankle area broken in though.
These boots are nice leather, well made, good insoles, good traction, good cushioning around ankles and excellent laces. They are too small for me. I ordered my regular size and my toes hit the front of the boot. I would need to order a full size up. These seem to be freshly oiled - perhaps to cover old scratches. There are stains on the packagine (see photo) and the smell is overpowering. Still, I would have kept them if they fit me.I am attaching a photo to document the oil/scratches in case there is a problem with my refund. If so, I will update this review. Otherwise, I would recommend these boots, but keep in mind that they run small.
Fits a little snug, but they should break in fairly quick. I'm a 6, so I ordered 6.5. I'm a little concerned about wearing heavier socks or putting insoles in. Keep in mind, these boots are NOT insulated, so they aren't something you'd want for winter. Maybe early to mid fall or early spring. As for being waterproof, that will have to be tested.Update: It's been nearly a year and they've lost almost all of their tread. Honestly, they were really good boots and that's still pretty good for wearing them everyday all day. They aren't waterproof, but they do pretty well if you use a treatment for them. Just try to treat them more than once and don't try walking in larger amounts of water. Overall? Not bad for the price.
Decent quality and 7.5 fits as expected. Weird fit in the heel though. It makes me feel like they are putting my foot in an odd position and slipping some but I’m hoping they will break in and be better.
I normally wear a size 10, but these were a little snug. Upsized to 10.5 and they fit well and are comfortable so far. Time will tell how well they hold up!
