Good looking pair of boots, they fit well and seem to be well made. I can't speak on the snake proof part.. I hope I never have to field test them and find out.
Got these for my dad who works as a natural gas mechanic in texas after a bad rattler bite landed him in the hospital. He needed tough work boots with all the bells and whistles that were also snake proof and had some sort of safety toe. After hours of research these were the only boots in the whole of amazon that checked all the boxes AND weren't in the 400 dollar range.He got a half size up because he wears thick socks and is happy with the sizing (though he is a smaller man). Currently saving up to buy him another pair to swap out so they last longer. So far he has had them for a month and they are going strong, they even look pretty decent.
The color looks darker compared to the picture. Boots are perfect at the toes but tight at the instep. It's still comfortable. I like it.

ARRIVED ON TIME. FOLD WHERE ZIPPER LOCATED IS TOO BIG AND IS NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL. PRESSES UP AGAINST MY CALF. VERY POOR DESIGN.
The actual boot is a good fit. But the zipper wouldn't zip after trying 3 different sizes.If you skipped leg day your entire life, you can fit in these.
