When you slip on the ROCKY MTN Stalker Pro Waterproof Mountain Boot, you’re immediately greeted by the impressive craftsmanship that reflects years of expertise in outdoor footwear. The combination of waterproof full-grain leather and durable Cordura fabric ensures that these boots withstand the elements without compromising on comfort.
In terms of performance, the Vibram outsole proves itself on uneven terrain, providing reliable grip even when traversing steep inclines or loose gravel. Hikers and outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the speed lace hook and lacing system, allowing quick adjustments that lead to an optimal fit.
One of the standout features is the Rocky Vapor Pass technology, which goes above and beyond typical waterproofing methods. This feature effectively wicks moisture away while keeping out external water sources, making it ideal for wet and muddy environments.
However, it's worth noting that while the boots are designed for rugged use, some users have reported feeling a bit of weight on their feet. This could be a consideration if you're planning an extensive hike where every ounce matters. Additionally, like many high-quality hiking boots, there may be a short break-in period required before they feel perfectly comfortable.

Best boots I’ve ever had, this was my second pair. Great for wide feet.
I was hesitant about order them online, concerns about quality and sizing. I knew Rocky boots usually are good quality and have purchased Rocky boots from a local vender in the past. However, I was not finding anything locally. I'm glad I gave these a chance. They fit perfect, very comfortable, and they look sharp. They are a little pricey but were worth it. I highly recommend them.
Since the first day fit exactly no complaints at all and they are light weight. Recommended
I bought these boots for a December deer hunt in Arizona. Dealt with snow and mud daily. These boots performed great. No squeaks or leaks. Got the shorter version as they are uninsulated. They were still comfortable in the teens and twenties. I went to the big box store with the intent of buying Danners as usual. I found the Danners, which I usually can buy without even trying them on, did not fit and/or immediately caused hot spots. The salesman said he had learned all Danners are now being made in China. He then showed me these Rocky’s. I had worn Rocky boots years ago but had switched to Danners about 15 years ago. I had to go down a 1/2 size but immediately knew these boots were for me. Comfortable from the start as all shoes should be. I left the store knowing I could find them for cheaper and here I am. Would buy them again with no questions. Hopefully they will last a few seasons as my Danners have but we will see.
I have had these boots going on a year, and I’m an electrician usually on my feet for 10 hour days. They are very durable, will hold up, 0 break in time, very comfortable. They keep my feet dry, have a good sole, good grip. Good for climbing who ever designed these shouldn’t change a thing.
