I can fully recommend both these boots and the vendor. The boots are very comfortable - I walked about 6 miles in them with no break in on the day that I received them - and they're very warm (in fact, too well insulated for our unseasonably warm weather, but I wanted to try them out when they came). I'm sure they'll be great even well below zero degrees (F). The price is very good, but they also compare well to the more expensive boots I have for warmer days (Danner, etc.) but those brands didn't make wide sizes for winter boots. Given the experience here, I'm not sure there's a reason to spend more when those brands do have my size. The sizing was as expected, keeping in mind that I always order boots one size larger than my street shoes to allow for heavier socks and the effects of longer hikes. With this usual adjustment, they were perfect. As to shipping and service, they arrived before the earliest date in the estimate, despite the fact that I ordered the medium width by mistake and contacted the vendor by email so that they could make the swap before they were sent. They did this with great courtesy and clear communications and still got them to me early! In short, great flexible service.
I bought a pair of the these 15 years ago from Bass pro. The stitching is giving and right boot no longer water proof. So time for new pair. I did buy boots from Brunt 2 months ago, just not the same comfort these give me. So bought another pair, the most comfortable boot I have ever had like a pair of gym shoes. I noticed the sole of the boot is firmer then my old ones maybe its the age and the rubber weakens over time. Not a deal breaker still very comfortable. With the boot being like hybrid leather with spots being nylon I don't need a wide boot. I use a wide or extra wide with some brands of shoes. Most boot I have been trying was the same, but these run a little wide. Not sure about quality yet have only worn to work 2 days now and already feal broken in. If they last half as long as last pair and since they were also cheaper then back then with everything else more expensive now a days will be worth it.
These boots are comfortable with a very short break in period. They run slightly large so maybe order a 1/2 size down. They advertise as waterproof but are more water resistant. I was stomping all over the woods and through springs and puddles. They performed really well, but on one occasion while letting my feet sit in a mountain spring they did take some water. But not a lot.I highly recommend these, but in a slightly smaller size
Great quality for the money. Boots are super warm.
Bought these for a winter deer hunt on Kodiak. Wore them around the house a couple of times before the trip. The size was good. I bought wide for big wool socks but I think I could have gotten away with the standard width. The lace hook eyes could be a little bigger, mostly because I’m old and can’t see without my readers but the hooks work fine and never came undone in the brush. Happy hunting!
If you think wear them on work . Think twice ! They very confortable and warm but not strong!
Great hunting boots
Manufacture packing missmatch on color with pairing but not bother me so.
