Boot Model | Material | Sole Material | Shaft Height |
---|---|---|---|
Rocky Men's RKC050 | 100% Leather and Synthetic | Rubber | 8.25 Inches |
Magnum Stealth Force 8.0 | Leather and Nylon | Rubber | 8 Inches |
Under Armour Stellar Tactical Boot | Leather and Textile | Rubber | 8 Inches |
When it comes to tactical boots, comfort and performance are paramount. The Rocky Men's RKC050 excels in both areas. The incorporation of wicking Dri-Lex lining plays a significant role in maintaining dry feet during lengthy missions or hikes.
The flash- and water-resistant leather proves to be highly functional, keeping your feet protected in wet conditions while still allowing them to breathe. This feature is indispensable for those who often find themselves in unpredictable weather.
Moreover, the stretch Lycra tongues ensure that these boots hug your feet securely without pinching or causing discomfort, making them ideal for prolonged use. However, users should be prepared for a break-in period, as the boots may feel stiff at first.
In terms of aesthetics, the coyote brown color is versatile enough for both military uniforms and outdoor leisure activities, blending functionality with style.

This is my second pair of S2V boots and I am impressed once again. I still own my first pair (desert tan color) from about 3 years ago and they are still working very well. These boots are on the slightly heavy side, but I only wear heavy boots so I'm used to the weight. That being said, they are very comfortable after a short break in period. The sides of the boots are relatively stiff and offer very good ankle support. The second pair I bought has been equally amazing with no issues whatsoever. They do take a little breaking in, but once they are formed to your feet, they will be super comfortable. I've taken these shoes on countless miles of ruck marches and they've not failed me once.
Have gone through two pairs in 16 years of service, now on a third. While they may be on the heavier side and quite expensive, they make up for in comfortably and durability. I would always recommend.
They are comfortable and help keep your ankle from rolling I am on my second pairI like the shoe laces they last longer than the shoe
These style boots are by far some of the best I've ever had. Being in the military I wear boots almost daily and do a lot of walking in them. They are extremely comfortable and not to heavy. There definitely a strong dependable boot. This is the second pair of these that I've bought now. The first pair lasted me 4 years and I'm expecting these will last just as long.
I am on my third pair of these now ater walking the other ones until treadbare. Most comformtable boots I've worn. They break in instantly, vent well in the desert, and the tread pattern works well in sand/mud/etc. They do run a bit off for size, so buy one size up. I am a 10R in everyhing but an 11R in these. Great boots.
True fit. Good ankle support
Berry compliant, just super comfortable for me, pull the insoles out a little after a day to help dry out a bit till next morning,, almost went with the enhanced jungle boot but these are just swell man, black is a clean duty work and might not breathe as well as tan suede? idk but rockys back with vibram...good
I love these boots. Comfy out of the box, I have walked a lot in them and never had a blister. Good ankle support, sturdy and resilient; I will buy these again!
