These are a great quality boot with ankle support. They are 800 gram thinsulate should also keep feet warm. Have been told that they are very comfortable and provide significant supprt which is necessary for hiking. they even include a 1 year limited warranty which shows the brand stands by their product.
Only 400 gram insulated and speed laces are hard to get to grab beside that there ok
It's a comfortable boot out of the box but it is a budget boot. I don't see it holding up in the long, hard haul because of the canvas material...this is just experience with canvas boots not particularly this boot so I could be surprised down the road. It's been water-proof and not too warm wearing them during the spring/summer.
My son has hiked many miles in these thru West Virginia hunting season. He says they are very comfortable, Great tread, and warm. He had them on during a zero degree hunting day with no issues.
The boots run small and were in accurately described. The description on Amazon says that the boots are 800 g of insulation but the box and the tag on the boots say 400 g of insulation. The boots appeared to be used and sold as new. They had dirt spots and we’re not tied up like they normally come brand new.
