The Rocky Men's Mobilite Eight Inch Steel Toe Work Boot excels in both performance and comfort. Starting with the fit, the wide oblique toe box allows for a more natural foot position, which can be crucial during long hours of wear. Many users appreciate how this feature reduces discomfort often associated with tighter fitting boots.
In terms of safety, the steel toe provides necessary protection in hazardous work environments without compromising mobility. It's worth noting that the oil and slip-resistant outsole has received positive feedback for its grip, especially on slick surfaces, making it ideal for both work settings and outdoor excursions.
One of the standout elements of these boots is their waterproofing capability. Whether you're trudging through puddles at work or crossing streams on a hike, you can trust these boots to keep your feet dry and comfortable.
However, potential buyers should be aware of the initial break-in period. Some users have reported that it takes a little time for the boots to soften up and feel fully comfortable. Additionally, while they are sturdy and protective, their slightly heavier design might take some getting used to if you typically opt for lighter footwear.

I got five pair of boots using Amazon's Prime Try Before You Buy program so I could see which one fit the best, and it came down to two pair, this one and another one. Between the two, this one fit better, so I sent the rest back.As for the fit of this boot, I have wide feet, and the width is perfect for me, the toe box is large enough so that it doesn't rub against any of my toes, the arch support is very good, the laces are nice and slick so they lace up nicely, and they look good, too. I've worn boots for most of my adult working life (almost 50 years), and these are easily one of the most comfortable boots I've ever had. I'm going to buy another pair so I can alternate between the two so they have a chance to stay dry between wearings.
Great work boots good quality very lightweight durable I will buy them again
UPDATE: 6-23-2019. Over a year in now on the railroad as a machine operator and these boots are now about done for unfortunately. They've been pretty decent boots and now they fit like a sock! Haha. Still wonderfully comfortable but the soles are starting to fall apart. But I guess I really can't complain being up and down, in and out of the machines all day as well as waking miles on ballast and uneven terrain. If the soles could last a bit longer I wouldn't even consider another boot. But at $150+ and having to take the hit every 8+ months I may try to find something that can make it closer to the 2 year mark. Which is probably doubtful haha.. But i do know that if there is nothing else, these boots are tried and true and the most comfortable I've experienced yet! Honestly if I could just have them re-soled with the same soles of do that. Because like I said, they fit better than ever and are close to being like putting on a sock! I've attached pictures to show the difference between the time on wear and tear. Most comfortable and light weight boots I've ever owned! They feel almost like a pair of sneakers! Well built and %100 waterproof. Only issue I have with them is that working and walking on all the ballast on a railroad all day the rubber on the soles within 6 months have already started to tear off and wear down. So for that it's not up to par. But as comfortable as these are it's worth it! Plus I have super wide feet so I have a very hard time finding anything comfortable to wear at all! And these boots more than fit the bill on comfort!
I work with my feet all day. using a shovel, kicking bricks into and out of place. Walking through mud and all types of landscapes. I'm a realist and don't expect any shoe to last me for more than a year. These usually last me 8 to 12 months and I always have 2 pair to call upon, Overall these shoes stand up to my rigorous use pretty darn good and they are comfortable right out of the box. The relatively inexpensive price compared to the higher end shoes makes these a 5 star deal for me. For those of you that just need a steel toed shoe for safety reasons and usually just walk in them without using them as one of your main tools, these should last you a lot longer than they do me. I like them.
Seemed like nice boots. Fit well for the most part. A little wide through the middle. I had these boots for two months when they started coming apart. Ankle padding separated from the boot leather. This happened on both boots. I'm not hard on these boots. Normal wear for only two months. Warranty process isn't great either. Still working through that. At this point, not likely to ever buy another pair of Rocky boots.
Boots are really waterproof . Great for work.
This is the second pair of these boots we have bought and both pairs CHEW through laces. It’s horrible how quickly this second pair is chewing through them. It’s so much worse than the last pair. Other than eating laces they fit good and are comfortable to wear all day
These boots felt great on my feet after getting the right size (Their 13 was huge) and kept my feet planted, dry and comfy in the kitchen I worked in. It's been almost exactly 10 months and they're still comfy, but the middle section of the sole on the right boot is now coming off and I keep having to stuff/press it back in. This makes the shoe feel a little off when I walk and it also lets water get in the boot if I step in a tiny puddle (my toes get wet). For the price tag, I'd expect these boots to last at least a year before any complaints come up, especially for someone using them for work as low impact as mine. The tread is still great at least. I bought a pair of $30 boots from Walmart that lasted me a good 15 months so I expected these to last longer. I still use them, but I'm just really disappointed that they're already starting to fail me.
