I would like to clarify that this is not a preconceived directed review. I am just a normal person who bought a product and is extremely happy with my purchase. I don’t write reviews typically but I am very happy with these boots both with their fit, comfort, and unwavering durability that I needed to. I am not a rancher, nor am I farmer. I am however an everyday guy who cuts his own firewood and does everyday household maintenance and repairs. I work in the medical field so these boots aren’t clearly being worn in the hospital but I will say for my lifestyle and needs these boots are perfect. They look great and fit perfectly. I finally retired my previous Rocky Ironclads that I’ve had for 15 years with these boots. I will forever be a fan of Rocky boots for these reasons. I typically wear a men’s 10 and these boots fit true. In the pictures the soles look non aggressive which was a slight concern before buying but I can honestly say the tread is perfect and provides great stability. I recommend these boots 5/5.
I’ve owned approximately 15 pairs of this Rocky boot model. This pair was not a size 12. I think it was mid marked, more like a size 10 1/2. Great Amazon return policy.
Horrible pair of boots way to tight and im already seeing that they are starting to come apart and for the waterproof I've had them for 3 weeks and they already got my feet wet do not recommend
The insert of the boot. Is very tight. Looks great but, ouch trying to get it on.Great looking boot.First pair I have bought. Are used to get the Justin George strait work boot. Just don’t last very long. Heals fall apart in a year.I have always bought Rocky hunting boots for the Gore-Tex. They’ve always done me well. I’ll look forward in wearing and using these boots. Very high-quality uppers are nice and soft and easy to break in.Only concern is the inset for my foot.
These boots fit as expected. We have bought this particular style and brand for last 3 times we shopped for boots. My husband works in the oilfield 5 days a week. In snow, rain, standing water, blazing sun, oil, and other things that are indescribable and they hold up for well over a year until finally succumbing to just being well worn and a side will finally rip out. Compared to other boots in this price range they lasted at least 2 to 3 times longer. I would recommend these boots to anyone who will be wearing these on a daily basis and works in conditions that are less than favorable for most people.
Ok I'm going to tell you. I own many different brands of boots. Danner, redwings, Irish setter (again red wing),chippawa,nocona, double h, Justin, Tony lama, and some custom made. Now granted these are all great boots I like them all. But these Rocky boots the long range model# 8656 are THE MOST COMFORTABLE BOOTS THAT I HAVE EVER WORN PERIOD!!!!!!!!. Now the ones that I'm reviewing now are my second pair. I'm still wearing my first pair, had them for a year. These here second pair I just got, again fit like a glove love them. I'm thinking about getting a third pair just because. I'm 54 years old and I figure I'll have them just in case they do something like discontinue them. I LOVE LOVE MY ROCKY LONG RANGE MODEL#8656.
