Top notch boot. Deserves 10 stars!

Top notch boots!!!... First of all I am a paramedic in an are with insanely high call volume and I'm in my tenth year. I've been through some good boots (bates, thourogood) and some bad boots( magnum, 5:11) so this time I tried what seemed to me by description and appearance a very good all-around work boot. I am beyond satisfied and continuously impressed by these boots. They are very well made and fit as I expected. They are very sharp when in uniform and the comfort level is second to none. I am thrilled that they are not nearly as heavy as I thought they would be and the composite toe is a great safety feature along with a bonus to ensure the boot stays in proper form. All I had to do was polish them very lightly and put an on.... These are hands down, no questions asked, the absolute best boot I have ever put on my feet, especially for EMS. I noticed a few lunatics with poor reviews on these boots, my advice is pay no attention to them they have obviously lost their minds. The strong and long list of protective features this boot has plus the comfort and affordability makes Rocky First Med boots are the boots you want. Your search is over, congrats!.

Very Comfy, will outlast you.

Aside from those Italian boots they no longer manufacture,(confra)?(looked like military boots) these are the best boots for comfort, very durable only reason that I chucked last pair was because I couldn't get the funk smell out of them due to the OVERLY Humid heat of the DC area, after the second summer wearing 6 days a week! You will scoff when you open them if your used to the NUBUCK style work boots due to the strange material these are made of but they are very durable leatherish material? Been working in the field for 30 years now and have tried every boot under the sun and these will be bought until I retire in 7 years!

nice fit, plenty of cushion

nice fit, plenty of cushion, nice long laces, good ankle support. the only thing is that the first eyelet has already torn loose from where it was sewn in but not enough of a problem to send them back. although they look heavy the composite toe is much better than steel toe and i dont feel clumsy in them

Disappointed in quality & customer service

I am a full time firefighter and have been looking for quality boots. These boots looked great and were pretty comfy. I have worn them every 3rd day for 9 months and the inner liner has already torn out and some of the exterior rubber 'trim' is pulling away. One of the zippers stopped going up all the way after about 10 shifts. I have worn boots for half the price that lasted at least two years before beginning to fail. I promoted these boots initially but now say move on. Not worth the price. Soooo disappointed! UPDATE: 12/2023 returned for warrente. TERRIBLE customer service!! Called three times and waited over 30 minutes each time and hung up. 4 was a charm after 38 mins. Communicated through email after reaching them. THEY DO NOT FOLLOW UP. HORRIBLE. I finally received my boots a month later. I do love the boots but not worth these hastles. Dont support this boot company.

The eyelets further up the boots are punched through the material and reinforced and are holding up fine, but if you want a snug

I got a pair of size 10W boots. They fit my wide feet very well and can be worn every day in winter or summer with equal comfort. However, their quality leaves much to be desired; my last pair of boots lasted a full year before showing signs of wear and tear, and lasted two years before I replaced them with these. I've had them nine months and already:-the outer rubber soles are wearing out with strips being torn out of the heel-the lace eyelets just above the throat are made of fabric and have already torn. The eyelets further up the boots are punched through the material and reinforced and are holding up fine, but if you want a snug fit across the top of your foot or water tightness, you're going to be outta luck-the laces that came with the boots snapped within a week-the inner lining of the boots kept catching on my heels and tore away from the boot, so now it takes a few minutes of walking for everything to settle into place and feel normal-the inner soles have detached and I have to be very careful when putting the boots on to keep them from moving out of place and scrunching up.The boots are still comfortably wearable, but at this rate I'm going to have to replace them much sooner than I did my last pair of boots (which aren't available in the right color for work, alas). Had I known how quickly they were going to deteriorate, I probably would not have bought them. Now that I have them, I can make them work for probably a few months more, but not nearly as long as I'd hoped.

Great boots!

For the work I do on the ambulance these boots are awesome! They are extremely comfortable to wear and offer excellent toe protection. I've worn them for over 12 hours a day and they are still as comfortable at hour 12 as at hour 1. They have great protection form liquids and potential BBPs, a must for those in EMS. The side zip makes them easy to slip on in the event of a call.

Boot of Dreams (Build it and they will wear)

I walk 10+ miles on shift a day. The toe was a little tight at first but nightly use of boot trees cured that. Everyone compliments them and they are light enough that I was actually joking around that they are light enough to jump rope in. I ended up doing it and they are as light as my Under Armor boots, but they have the carbon toe. I am never a fan of sidezip boots, but this one curves down perfectly to be useful. It is so nice to pull the boots off so easy. Unlimited compliments, great looks, wonderful utility. The rest of the guys in my department are going to buy themselves a set. I will buy again.

Surprisingly GREAT Quality

Wow!!! These shoes are very good quality for the price! I was expecting an intermediate shoe that would last a year or two and I can see these things lasting for a while! They were super easy to break in (took two days of wearing them around town) an are waterproof almost to the top (first thing I tested when I got them out of the box). They are very lightweight due to the composite toe which is a nice feature when you are running around everywhere all day. Overall I am very happy with these boots and I hope they last as long as I am hoping they will. I would definitely recommend these to anyone especially someone in the EMS field like I am.
