Well I used to buy these years ago,then saw Amazon had them cheaper so I re bought them again remembering that they were comfortable but heavy at first. It'll take a few wears to get used to them ,not a bad purchase if you use them everyday they probably go a year or more.
Very comfortable boot. I’m on my feet during my shift on and off, and these boots hold up great. I’m on my third pair. The laces wear out before the boot does. I get around two years out of a pair easy. I spray a water proof silicone on them when I buy them. They also shine up great. I have a plantar issue with my one foot, so I put in my inserts that I have. I get a wide pair so they fit in. I probably don’t even need them because these are very comfortable boots. Light weight too!
Shoes fit really tight on the top of the foot!
Many years ago, on my achy feet for long shifts, I asked my postman why his feet didn’t hurt. The answer was his Rocky boots. I’ve worn them ever since. They are NOT mid-calf, but give great ankle support & are postal approved.
Love these work boots. Comfortable but the treads are soft and wear out fast. Plus, the price has gotten ridiculous. Moved on to another brand that is less expensive and lasts longer.
I used these to replace the thorogoods I had been wearing for two years, but am replacing them after three months of walking around a hospital facility all day. They are every bit as comfortable as the thorogoods, but the dole isnt solid rubber there is a foam layer about two millimeters under the sole finish and they do not retain slip resistance a well. But I am replacing them with the same rockys because they fit and walk better. And american made thorogoods have gotten way too spendy I buy American when I can Keep it up Rocky just put more rubber in the soles.
The quality of materials of the outsole is terrible. Wear them for only a few miles and it starts wearing out super quick losing its traction and pealing off of rubber.Don't buy. Even most Walmart boots with rubber outsole are much better quality and only $35.Only 2 stars because of fancy looking and Made in the USA.Buy Red Wing for much better quality or buy hiking boots of good brands.
I purchased these boots when I got a job with UPS. I needed something light, and supportive that would get me through a LONG day on my feet. These boots fit the bill perfectly.They are light weight with the right amount of support for me. They are also uninsulated which allows you to adjust the warmth of your feet by changing the thickness of your socks. I've worn these boots on freezing days and days when the mercury broke 90 degrees.Also they are made in America.The only down side is that they are not waterproof.
