My boots began to literally come apart 2 days into wearing. I've had at least 6 pairs of the same Rockport works 6465 and NEVER had a issue. Weird, I'm still wondering wtf. Anyway, Amazon sent a new pair the day I called. They are like every other pair before, great boot great quality! Thanks
These boots have more toe room then any other I have tried in my 25 years of wearing work boots daily. Their major downfall is I’ve never had a pair last more then a year. The stitching rips. I have continued buying them every year for the past five years because I’m willing to pay for the comfort. If they lasted more then a year they’d be 5 stars.* I do take the insole out and put in orthaheel insoles into all my shoes because I have foot problems.
This is the second pair of these exact boots my husband has gotten. He loves the fit and support. He is *rough* on his work boots, and these lasted about two years after changing out the insole at some point because he had walked them down. One note on Rockport in general, they tend to fit a bit small and sizing up a half size from what you normally wear is suggested.
I am a retail merchandizer and have to have these boots for work. Years ago i sold cars and had a pair of Rockport loafers and they were the best pair I've ever had so when i got this job i immediately thought of Rockport. I purchased these boots in Dec last year and they were amazing up until about June they were comfortable, not too heavy, stay tied, dry and warm they were perfect! Then in or around the first part of June i started getting hot, ichty, red rash on the tops of both of my feet, it was pretty uncomfortable. I thought maybe it was the glue or something in the leather maybe bothering me so I tried putting a liner between my sock and the boot top and it helped just a little but not really. It may jsut be due to the weather getting hotter and overheating my feet, i will try again when it gets cold and update my review.Ok so it’s been a while so hear is my update. When the weather cooled they were better so I think it was my feet getting way too hot. I gave them to a gal I know and she LOVES them.
Comfortable right out of the box. No break in period. I am rough on boots and i can get over a year out of these things. This my 5th pair. Love them.
Very well constructed with quality materials. However my husband can’t work in them all day as there’s a sort of armored toe that rubs against the top of his toes.Disappointed that I spent this much on something that doesn’t help.
I have been wearing the Rockport work boots for several years now and they are the most comfortable and well built boot! They wear well and have always been defect free!
got these in July of 2016 and its December 2016 the heel is gone making a swoosh sound because the inside sole is hanging out when it rains. I didn't even get a full year out these as I would with other work boots. unless your prepared to buy a new pair every 6 months don't buy! and amazon only gives refunds for up to 30 days on this item!!!!!
