These are fantastic!!! I can't speak to the durability but form and function are excellent. I just returned Timberland pro Branston because they did not fit properly and the pair I received had a crease on the toe. The second I put these loafers on, I was impressed. The do fit a little large but not enough for me to change size. They are light and COMFORTABLE!!!!!!!!!! Not bad to look at either ;-) I could literally wear them all day and not even realize I was wearing a safety toe. Two thumbs up in my book. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs to look professional and have their feet protected at the same time.
I order shoes online quite a bit and ordered my normal size 11, however when I got these shoes they ran a bit large and I had to send them back for a 10.5. I cannot say enough about how good the customer service is at Lehigh Valley Safety Shoes, and especially Nancy. They provided excellent answers to my questions, recommended the right size, and quickly sent me the return label...without hesitation. They even agreed to a delayed reshipment because I was going to be on vacation. Great people to work with. Bought the shoes for yard work and mowing the lawn. Wanted that extra protection of the steel toe, just in case by foot slipped under the mower desk or I dropped something heavy. Great looking shoe, fine construction, and the steel toe was not nearly as heavy a load as I expected. I highly recommend them.
Very heavy shoe (16.1 oz ea. shoe) - shoe sole very heavy.If you suspend the shoe while on your foot, the shoe wants to fall off from its own weight. I own two other versions of Rockport deck shoes - this model is 4+ oz. heavier than the other Rockport deck shoes I own (12 oz. ea. shoe).Almost feels like wearing a hobnail boot in a way. The fit is close, but a little looser around the heel than my other shoes. Nice looking shoe - the sole looks to be high traction but dense (maybe there is a metal stiffener inside - don't know).
This is a great comfortable work shoe. It fit as expected and looks great.
I know suede has different shades, but these looked like two different colors dark and light, also had spots on one of them. I think they were returned once before. I did reorder so i hope it works out this time since the shoe is very comfortable and made well.
Wear good made to last
These are comfortable and look great. Just order a size or more smaller than normal. Take advantage of the free returns to get it right. Great price too, $79.
Because of all the other reviews about big these fit, I got a size 8.5 medium instead of a 9 wide that I normally get. Had to return the 8.5 medium for a 8.5 wide; both were too small, and because they were so uncomfortable because of how the steel toe was designed, I decided not to reorder a third time. I found two other shoe options/brands in a local work shoe store that were 110% better fitting and 120% more comfortable than the Rockports; I bought one of those. Both were just as good looking if not better looking than the Rockports as well. I gave 2 star rating only because they do look fairly good... otherwise it would have been 1 star.
