This is a pretty good boot that I wear to work. I read reviews of people claiming that they are not waterproof. I haven’t had any issues with water and I find the boot to be extremely comfortable. I work outside everyday and it doesn’t feel like a boot! Will definitely be purchasing again.
My first pair of Rockport footwear and I'm impressed. These boots are solidly made. I just love them. I love the way they look and feel.To me they are true to size. I'm a size 6.5And these are spot on. Fit perfectly. They have great support and they are very comfy. I have arthritis in my feet and getting comfy shoes is always a problem. I do use inserts sometimes in other shoes but I haven't had to that with these boots so far. I love the soft material for the upper and The laces are thick. The sole is thick and the tread is not slippery. Nice grip.***A little extra Info. I use a shoe horn to help put these boots on, it's a nifty gadget to use and it help to stop breaking down the backs of footwear. I also have arthritis in my fingers so it's sometimes hard to put on footwear so I would recommend a shoe horn for those who don't have strong fingers. A shoe horn makes putting on footwear so easy***There is a pull tab sewn in on the back of these boots that you can use to pull the boot on too.I would definitely buy Rockport footwear again if this is their standard. My husband bought a pair of Rockport shoes and loves them.He heard me rave about these boots and so he bought himself a pair of Rockport boots too, just a different design. And he loves them too.I think we are both going to be Rockport footwear fans for a while.
I normally live Rockport's products. But this is the first time I ever got a pair that were so uncomfortable. The bridge area is tight and unmoving. I won't buy this particular shoe again. I'm very impressed with Rockport products so I'll look for a more comfortable style.
I didn't use it yet. I tried to fit and I like it.
I put these on and except for a bit of stiffness at the heel, they were comfortable right away. They fit true to size. After I wore them about six times (I hike a 2 mile route through grassy pastures each day) I thought I was feeling a bit of dampness in the toe area. I wore them next on a rainy day and my feet were literally SOAKED in the first 5 minutes. With less than 15 total miles walking on them. I did expect better of Rockports. I can recommend these for hiking in dry conditions--but don't expect them to keep water out or to keep your feet dry. They are no better than my sneakers for that--and with very minimal use.
Love these comfortable warm boots!
Fit great, comfortable, but after a few minutes of walking around in wet grass, it was obvious the boots were NOT, in fact, waterproof. I thought maybe it was my imagination, but when I got home and took the boots off, yup, my socks were wet. A disappointment, as Rockport shoes are typically high quality.
These are great but too small for me . I returned them and plan to order another pair in a larger size
