I have been hunting for a comfortable and stylish black pump shoe for work. I stand and lecture and walk across campus several times a day. By the time I'm headed home, my feet have been through the wringer. I read the reviews on this shoe and decided it was worth a try. What sold me was that I could easily return them. The box arrived with return packaging which was a plus. After wearing them all day, I must say they are the most comfortable black pumps I have worn (and I have four other pairs that are other brands that hurt after a full day wearing them). By the end of the day, they were a bit snug near the toes, however, they are leather which means they are going to mold to my feet. I was prepared to send these back if I didn't find them comfortable after my first day of wearing them. But am happy to report I will be keeping them and tossing my others!
I’m pleased with this shoe. It’s comfortable and looks fashionable. The size is fine until the heel. There’s a gap. I suspect that this is for the added padding most wearers will attach. I am certainly looking for padding. Even though the shoe is comfortable the first part of the wear, it quickly becomes a battle to not remove the shoe. Probably has to do with foot shape. I do have semi flat feet and my ankles roll outward. Adding inserts do not work with this heeled shoe. Inserts are built in. The padding is needed because the foot naturally moves forward as one walks. Smaller sizing will decrease the effectiveness of the built in insert. My foot fits on the built in insert but shifts as I move throughout the day. Additional padding is warranted. Seems like a lot of extra work but if you know your feet, you know any shoe requires extensive research. I like this shoe for the insert and the comfort.
They were too high for me, but they were a great fit and quite comfortable.
As a repeat purchaser of Rockport , I hated to give 3 stars just because of the fit. I wear a 8.5 normally. I have always bought 1/2 down in Rockport . These in the photo are a 9 wide . There is about 1/2 inch gap and they flopped off my foot when I tested them. Rockport are so comfy and my go to shoe for long hours on my feet . I just reordered the 9 regular. Hopefully they work. All of that said , don’t hesitate to buy just know to size down and maybe get a few different sizes to find your perfect fit .
This looked like a comfortable and good quality shoe to wear to work. Their were reviews that said the shoe runs big to you regular size. When I went to order them the seller suggested that I order a half size smaller than my normal shoe size. So I received them and "Guess what!?" They didn't fit. They were too small. My normal shoe size is 6 1/2 and I ordered a 6. It has since surpassed the return date and so I am unable to return them at this point even though I never wore them and only tried them on. Granted I could have returned them right after I tried them on but they got shoved somewhere where I couldn't see them since I had ordered several other shoes to try on and buy. So disappointed and frustrated that return date isn't longer.
These are plain, conservatively heeled and styled black pumps; I bought them for my wife who has perfectly proportioned calves. She likes these shoes a lot, heel height is almost perfect, fit is comfortable, front platform is modest, and overall they lend an air of restrained elegance. I simply love the way my lady moves and looks wearing these pumps, I'd be perfectly happy to see her wear these every day, all day long.
This pump has a nice style and side profile. In addition, shoes are very comfortable. Though pretty and comfortable the shoes did not fit properly. The toe box is spacious and so is he overall shoe. Ultimately, they ended up flopping up and down on my feet. Even my daughter, who wears a size bigger than I do, found the shoes to be too large.
Wore my shoes for the first time this evening. At first I thought, wow these are uncomfortable. However, I took them off and adjusted my toes and slid my foot back in and voila, they weren’t so bad. I’m normally a size 9, but they were so big, I couldn’t keep them on my feet. So I downsized to an 8 1/2 which felt much better. I think they will be ok, but the jury is still out.
