I'm 61. I've never been able to wear slides because my foot is wide (tho not extremely so) and my arches are very high. I ordered these in wide and kept my fingers crossed.They are excellent shoes, excellent fit, excellent (Rockport) support.My lower back even feels better when I wear these- even all day.These are the very best 'house shoes' I have ever worn.

The cute little "V" shaped cut-outs on the top of the sandal rubbed with each step, and left nasty blisters on the top of my foot by the end of the day. I'm a teacher, so walking and on my feet all day. Very disappointed, as the sandal is cute, fits well, and has a comfortable footbed. Whoever designed this shoe is a sadist. Absolutely do not recommend.I've worn them once, so can't return them. Waste of my hard-earned teacher pay :-(Rockport, you should make this right!
