The shoes are as advertised and seem to be sturdy and well made. The fit is a bit snug for the size, but they stretch out comfortably as I have worn them.
I bought my first pair just about two years ago in a boot shop. I paid twice the price as this but I got to try them on in different sizes along with several other high end boots. I think they're great, light , comfortable and durable. I weld in a shop and am on my feet a lot and sometimes have to use the toe as a hammer. The leather has been pretty beat up and gotten pretty stretched and the stitching is starting to come apart. But that's expected after two years of abuse.
I purchased these boots in September, and as you can tell by the picture they are falling apart already. They are super comfortable and very stylish. Unfortunately they are ultimately junk.
I wanted something nicer looking and ended up with these. My time is split between the office and a street construction environment 70/30. These boots are great because they look nice and also satisfy the requirements of being on the job. The transition from working to going out right after work was easier because I didn't have to change shoes. They are comfortable, look nice, comparatively light, and affordable. That being said, you'll get a year out of these. The sole separates in various spots and the heel has made up it's mind to go in a different direction. I'll give it 4 stars, but it's really 3.5
These are the best work boots. I first purchased these when I went from the work floor to an office. Still required to wear steel toes, I wanted something more stylish. I am a big Chukka boot fan. These are very stylish and comfortable. The only thing that you have to put up with is the “break in” period. So, wear a thick sock about the ankle for a couple of weeks. Once they break in, they are the best. I’ve had my pair almost two years and they look better with time. I have 2 brand new pairs in the closet. Definitely a must buy!!!
Doing lots of ground work I usually beat the fronts/cap up when on the knees. Since these are a synthetic upper, they can really take a beating. Unfortunately that same plus leads to less comfort. They are harder than leather and never seem to break in. Thankfully I purchased big enough size as to wear 2 pairs sock which cushion the hardness. That's not gonna work in summer though. I lovd the durability but I guess the tradeoff is comfort. So nope. Soles seems to be holding up good although the tread pattern seems to hold many small pebbles that never leave. I will have to keep looking for a better boot.
This is my second pair.. The first pair I still use them ti cut grass and yard work and these For work work!!! thanks
These boots were my first pair of steel toe I ever wore and they took a bit of getting used to, I recommend going with the WIDE version. I ordered both and sent the regular size back because it was way too tight. The boots take a week or so to break in but after that they are very comfy. I will buy another pair when these wear out for sure
