The Hydro-Shield technology is a game changer, ensuring that whether you walk through puddles or encounter unexpected rain, your feet remain dry and comfortable. This feature alone significantly enhances your hiking experience, allowing you to focus on enjoying nature rather than worrying about soggy socks.
The truTech cushioning system provides excellent shock absorption, making each step feel lighter, especially on rugged terrains. Many users have praised the instant comfort offered by the boots right out of the box, although like any new pair of shoes, they might need a slight break-in period to achieve the perfect fit.
Crafted from high-quality leather and suede, these boots are not just functional; they also boast an aesthetic appeal that makes them suitable for everyday wear. The ankle-height design provides additional support without restricting movement, making them versatile for various activities from light hiking to casual outings.
However, it’s worth noting that those with broader feet may find the shaft circumference a bit snug. It’s advisable to try them on or consult size charts before purchasing to ensure a comfortable fit.
In conclusion, if you’re seeking a reliable, stylish, and waterproof hiking boot, the Rockport Men's Weather Ready Moc Toe Boot is a worthy investment that combines durability with comfort, ensuring that nothing holds you back from exploring the great outdoors.

So I have big feet. With that, I look for foot fit, comfort, toughness and lightness. Some boots are five stars in every thing but lightness. Too bad but being 82, I just can't drag five pounds of boots around. These are leather, so grass and weed seeds can't enter the foot bed, especially if u add some gaitors.Speaking of gaitors brings up something: they could be just a little taller? Also, some hooks at the top might be a nice addition. Small cons. Otherwise, priced right and true to size, so I rated them 5 stars.
I bought these for my teen son. He likes the style with the stitching. He says they are very comfortable. Hopefully they’re durable too!
I usually wear Medium width shoes. These definitely run a bit narrow. Not bad, but they'll need some breaking in and maybe a trip to the shoe guy. Otherwise a comfortable walker. One other thing....they are quite a bit darker than they show on my computer screen. I'd describe them more as a dark walnut than light tan.
Great boot. They do run narrow. Had to return the first pair I bought and go with a wide. It worked out very well, cause they had pair in the Amazon warehouse for 30.00 less.I like the leather finish seems to not show any scratches or scuffs. Very pleased.
I bought another brand to save $$. They had flat bottom with up turned toe and little arch support. They made my feet hurt. These have 1/4 inch heels and flat toe. No foot pain now.
As others have noted, toe box is considerably narrower than previous versions...not as comfortable overall. Soles on both shoes split after fifteen months of normal wear. Have owned many pairs of Rockport boots over the last 30 years, but after this pair will not buy Rockport ever again.
Quality was not there and they don't fit as well.
I liked they fit and were comfortable!
