The Rockport Men's Eberdon Dark Brown Leather shoes stand out in the crowded marketplace of men’s footwear for several reasons. In terms of comfort, the truTECH cushioning system significantly enhances the shoe's ability to absorb impact, making it an excellent choice for those who spend long hours on their feet. The padded collar further prevents blisters, ensuring a snug fit without compromising comfort.
Visually, these shoes offer a perfect blend of classic style and modern elegance, allowing you to pair them effortlessly with both casual and semi-formal attire. The genuine leather upper not only provides durability but also develops a unique patina over time, adding to its aesthetic value.
In terms of breathability, the mesh lining excels by effectively managing moisture, which is crucial for maintaining foot health during warmer months. Additionally, the flexibility afforded by the Strobel construction allows for natural foot movement, enhancing overall wearability.
While there are many positives, it's essential to note that some users have found the initial fit slightly rigid, indicating a potential adjustment period. Furthermore, the weight of the shoe could be a consideration for individuals seeking ultra-lightweight options.

Can not go wrong with Rockport shoes. Comfortable, great fit and looks great.
I needed a good pair of shoes I could wear to Italy for a month walking 3 to 6 miles a day. I wanted them also to be good for dinner at very nice restaurants without having to return to hotel room. The expensive shoes I used the year before gave me sore feet the whole previous year's trip. These were less than half the price, looked about as good, and were VERY comfy. No problems! I must add that while the Rockport arch support seemed ok, I did buy insoles with more arch support because I have high arches.I would keep buying these shoes.
Delivery was fast. The overall quality is also good. It is a bit inconvenient to put your feet in because the entrance is small. The feet are rather wide, so it is comfortable to wear. The sole is a rubber sole and is very light in weight. Overall, comfortable shoes. The stitches are grayish, so it's a bit uncomfortable to stand out.
These are great casual work shoes for the office. I bought size 8 M and they are very comfortable. I don't have very wide feet but appreciate the slightly wider toe box. I avoid Sketchers relaxed fit brand because they are too loose on my feet and my heel often comes out of the shoe. These Rockport shoes stay on my feet without my heel popping out due to the upper part of the shoe being high enough to keep the shoe secure. I appreciate the back inner lining of the heel to be leather (or fake leather)! Shoes with fabric inner lining tend to develop holes and tears so the leather inner heel lining should hold up. I just got these so I don't know if they will stand the test of time but I think the leather upper and soles should hold up. The soles don't seem to be made of heavy rubber but is probably a plastic blend so it may not grip as well on slick surfaces. For ~60 dollars, I think it a good value.
Shoe fits as expected. Comfortable the first time I put them on. Upper is leather and the soles are man-made. Good shoe for the money. I trust Rockport and would buy these shoes again.
My husband needs comfortable shoes for work and that can endure some wear and tear, but also look nice with his work uniform. We thought these were very fine for the price. He did order a wide width, which we usually don't; but I think that he ordered a half size smaller because the other half size larger was not in stock. Depending on the shoe he wears an 11 to size 12. They did seem just a bit too wide, but with thicker socks they will be fine. And I figure just a bit too big than too small. My husband likes Rockport shoes.
These shoes produced mixed emotions. The good news is that they are very comfortable and the sizing is accurate, both length and width. The bad news is that the actual shoes do not look exactly like the picture. The picture shows a some what shiny leather surface which looks nice. In reality, the shoes were a very dull, flat black color. Thus out of the box it looked like the shoes had some "age" to them. I even applied black shoe polish to try to add some shine but it didn't help. Ironically the soles are a nice glossy black, which contrasts with the rest of the shoe. The other detail the picture doesn't show unless it is made larger is that all the stitching is white. I was never a fan of white stitching on a black shoe so that was another disappointment. If the shoes looked like the picture they would be rated 5 stars.
I have usually purchased Clark's, but the shoes I have received from Clark's on Amazon have not been very comfortable in the last few shoes I tried, and the pair I want has not been in my size for some time. Soooo I decided to try Rockport Men's City Play Two Slip On Oxford. I was not disappointed. At first, the back of the shoe was a bit tight to slide your foot in and out of. A shoe horn is necessary the first week or so. After it breaks in, no problem. The shoe fits well, they are well made, very comfortable, and keeps my feet/legs from fatigue after I am on my feet for about 11 hours a night. I have found a favorite shoe again!! Excellent!!!
