The Rockport Men's Charles Road Slip-On is a perfect blend of sophistication and comfort, designed for the modern man who appreciates both style and functionality. Crafted from smooth polished leathers, this shoe belongs to the Charles Road Collection, known for its classic dress profiles that effortlessly transition from day to night. Whether you're heading to the office or enjoying a casual outing, these slip-ons offer unparalleled versatility.
One of the standout features of the Charles Road Slip-Ons is their lightweight construction, making them ideal for all-day wear across various seasons. The soft knit lining provides an added layer of comfort, while the cushioning foam foot bed ensures that your feet feel great no matter how long you are on them. The shock-absorbing EVA outsole further enhances comfort, allowing you to walk with ease on different surfaces.

When it comes to choosing the right dress shoes, comfort and style are paramount. The Rockport Men's Charles Road Slip-On excels in both areas. From my experience wearing these shoes, they immediately stand out due to their sleek and polished appearance, which complements any outfit beautifully.
The fit was snug yet comfortable right out of the box. However, it's worth noting that some users might need a bit of a break-in period as the leather molds to your foot over time. While the shoes provide excellent cushioning, those requiring significant arch support may find them lacking in that area.
As for durability, the high-quality leather construction speaks volumes. I've worn them in different settings, from office meetings to casual gatherings, and they've held up impressively well without showing signs of excessive wear.
Moreover, the lightweight EVA outsole is a game-changer. It absorbs shock effectively, allowing for prolonged wear without discomfort. Unfortunately, these shoes are not waterproof, so I would advise avoiding them in rainy conditions.
Overall, if you're looking for a versatile slip-on that combines elegance with comfort, the Rockport Men's Charles Road Slip-On is certainly worth considering. It manages to strike a balance between style and practicality, making it a valuable addition to anyone's wardrobe.

This is the shoe I work in. Every day. Sometimes 6 days a week. Lots of walking. Lots of standing. This is my fourth pair in almost three years. I depend on these shoes for comfort, consistency of product, price, and looks. Great shoe.
I keep re ordering these shoes for work as they are a great price, comfortable and way better price then local stores. I hope they always carry them.
I'm only wearing them for the second day so far. They're generally comfortable and fit fairly well. My main criticism so far is that the backs seem a bit high (but not more than a quarter inch, if that much), and where the sewing comes to the back upper edge of the shoes, it's a bit rough. I did a lot more walking around in them my first day wearing the shoes than I would have preferred, and at the end of that day the backs of my feet along the achilles tendons were not too happy with me. However, I'm wearing them again, and I'm hopeful they'll loosen up a bit and that the rough parts (along the sewing) will smooth out quickly. If that doesn't happen within the next few weeks, I'll try to update this review.By the way, I have wide feet (high arches and fairly widespread toes) and am wearing a 10W, and these fit comfortably from that perspective.
I was reluctant to purchase shoes over the internet, but these were the shoes I wanted and I didn't want to drive all around town looking for them. They arrived sooner than expected. They look great and the fit is absolutely perfect. They're very comfortable and light, yet with just the right amount of cushion.
The only shoes that I don’t need Dr Scholls for as long as I’ve had them. They are super comfortable, easy to slip on/off, look great, are fairly durable, inexpensive, &c, &c. Current pair easily lasted a year of daily use. Just ordered a second pair.Note: Rockports run 1/2 size Larger than most other brands or types of shoe!
Originally, I purchased these shoes to aid in my problems with plantar fasciitis.Pro #1: These shoes, along with the inserts that my doctor suggested, have been a heaven send for plantar fasciitis, as my related foot pain can get so bad that it prevents me from standing for even 2 minutes when not using inserts. Evem the most comfortable sneakers had minimal benefit. So, now that I am thinking about it - I can't completely say its the shoes or the combination of the shoes and the inserts.Cons of this shoe: I work in a clear-the-metal-detector before entering the building work environment. And I have to take these shoes off every day - at the beginning of the shift, if I go out for lunch - when leaving, and obviously, when returning from lunch. In order to clear the metal detector, I have to remove my shoes and have them scanned in a secondary scanner! I have no SAT words, at the moment, to describe the angst and frustration these shoes bring me 5 times a week, 3 times a day. But seeing as how I was blessed with plantar fasciitis, I am at my wit's end as to what kind of "dressy" business shoe I could acquire in replacement of these alarm-setting puppies.Con #2: The ankle support leave a lot to be desired. I have to wear some thing that further promotes ankle stabilizing to get through a day. Hooray!!!!
I absolutely love Rockport shoes. I work on my feet all day long. I bought a few pairs years ago from an outlet store when I was on vacation. They lasted several years. I was a little uneasy about ordering shoes before trying them on but these fit just as expected. These are my first pair of slip ons, and I love them. I was a little worried that they would be loose on my feet but they aren’t. They are very comfortable and fit well. I will definitely buy these again when I finally wear these out.
I bought these shoes because I needed s new pair as my other shoes had split open. I wear them for casual dress wear and semi formal outings.
