Fit is perfect
I had a pair of Reefs exactly like these for years, but I broke one on a recent trip to Italy. They were my go-to walking shoes. To me, nothing is as comfortable as Reefs. The shoes are soft and lightweight, sort of like going barefoot with a little cushion. I bought these, as well as several more pairs of Reefs in various styles and colors. Next time I travel, I’ll take 2-3 pairs!
I love these shoes however they always break. Good thing my husband is handy and we have superglue laying around.I continue to purchase these because the padding is comfortable and the straps are thin. I should note I wear these often and that could be why they always break.
I was surprised to like these flipflops as much as I do! The quality is great. I have had these for almost a year and still wearing them. Will definitely be repurchasing soon!!!
For the price that the brand itself sells these for, you’d think they'd figure a way to keep the material from leaving the bottoms of your feet from turning black. I bought these in a pinch because a 5.5 in flip flops is hard to come by sometimes. I love the style as a go to since these literally go with everything when you’re running errands and don’t have time to get fully dressed for the day. I probably wouldn’t buy them in black again. I know it’s just the brand because I’ve had other black flip flops from Reef and whatever is in the black color will transfer to your feet. Quality is not above and beyond other brands but this style I like and it’s another one I have a hard time finding in my size. Hence the reason I sacrificed and bought these. These are ok but know you will have caveman feet, especially if you’ve just gotten a pedicure.
This is my second pair of REEF flip flops for women. The first time you wear them you might think they are a little stiff and rigid. Don’t fret! Wear them and they will mold perfectly to your foot shape and walking pattern. Hard to explain. But trust me!The support and comfort this flip flop has keeps me wearing them day after day. Your foot won’t slide off one side or the other, they are durable to wear in water, sand, dirt trails, gravel, just about anywhere. Dense outsole for protection while insole firm but soft allowing for a perfect comfortable fit to your foot’s specific shape.The strap is thin and very durable. No break in period. The strap does not create a sweaty slippery layer between foot and strap. I live where summer temperatures reach into triple digits and still no sweaty straps.This is my second pair. I broke my right sandal. While playing disc golf, I lost a disc in a pond. My foot sank about 12-14” into sludge. The flip flop was fine for the remainder of the day, but the next evening I decided to wear my tube socks with them in the house since it was chilly and my Dobie stepped on the back of the sandal when I was mid- stride and I pulled the strap out of the toe area. I do not believe this was a manufacturing issue, but rather a consumer error. 🤦♀️😜FIT- I wear a US size 6 women in sandals and flip flops and I like my Vans a little roomy and wear a 6.5.My foot measures exactly, from heal to longest toe) 9.25” inches, 23.5cm.Overall- best beach, lake, everyday flip flop. Lightweight, comfy, durable and reliable!
If you’re looking for the Reefs of yesteryear where they have a nice thick layer of the mold to your foot material, the black Bliss ones aren’t it. They’re much lighter in weight and have a foam bottom. This causes them to be much less comfortable for longer periods of standing and walking. Quality products are at an all time low, unfortunately.Overall rated 4 stars because as they are, the look nice and get the job done. They won’t last years like my old Reefs though.
