I have worn this boot model for three years on duty. They were comfortable from the start, but began to finally wear out. Thankfully they are still available and at a great price.
Love these boots. Could be the sixth pair and at least a couple of them when they were made by adidas. My last pair lasted about 4 years. Picture shows oldest to newest. Oldest pair purchased about 6 years ago. Provide comfort, great ankle support for my weak ankles from sprains and breaks and provided great service over 15 years of my career. I will buy another pair of these in the future if I need another pair. Makes doing the job so much easier.
This is my second pair. Very durable. They lasted a long time. The comfort is better then any sneaker I have ever worn. The zipper side was what sold me. Tie them once and then the zipper from then on. Easy on and off. Great support too. You make think you loose that with the zipper. The comfort is really good. I never wore it out. It really stood up to time and daily use. A boot truck comes by the job and sells redwing and they all fall apart. Everyone buys them and the soles fall off and you see people with duct tape and glue all over the place trying to get a few more months out of them. Never had that. These are my second pair. My next boots will be the same.
I like the boots, the fit and feel is good, the tread is nice.The problem I have with the boots is when I try to remove them. After a long day in warm weather it is hard to get them off. It does not matter what type of sock I have on, my feet get stuck in the boot. It is almost like a moisture lock. The lining with ride up and bind my foot, sometime I can twist sideways and pull, other times I must force a pen or something down to break the seal. In then the lining rides up and sometimes the plastic brace in the heel gets bent out of place.Also, there is no finger loop in the top.of the boot to help pull it on.Update * * * After even more time in this boots the problem is even worst. It is a struggle to get them off daily. Twisting them does not work a lot of the time now. Changed from 3 Stars to 1 ! Do not waste your money!
If you have wide feet or a bigger person get the wide size. Boots are comfortable and fit well. They are durable. I wear them at work as a tow truck operator. Will purchase again
Can't put the boot on & off using the side zipper without untying the laces. That defeats the purpose of the size zipper! Poor design. These boot got returned.
This is my second pair in black and I have one in tan. The other set has been placed in backup duty so I still have it for about 3-r years now. These are the most comfortable boots i have owned in over 30 years. They do run a 1/2 size too big so order down a half size.
