When it comes to selecting the right pair of combat boots, comfort, safety, and durability are crucial factors. The Propper Men's Series 100 Side Zip Composite Toe Coyote Boot excels in all these areas. From the moment you slip your foot into the boot, you'll appreciate the cushioned embrace of the premium memory foam insoles.
The side zip closure is a significant advantage, enabling quick accessibility during emergencies or rapid deployments, while the speed lacing system ensures that your boots stay snugly in place throughout the day. The composite toe adds an essential layer of protection against impacts and compressions, something you will definitely value in various working environments.
Moreover, whether you're traversing uneven terrains or climbing ladders, the slip-resistant rubber outsole ensures grip and stability, minimizing the risk of slips and falls. The breathable lining aids moisture regulation, preventing your feet from getting overly sweaty during long hours of wear, which is further enhanced by anti-odor treatments.
However, it's worth noting that like most high-quality boots, it may take several days of wearing them before they truly conform to your feet for maximum comfort. While they might feel a bit on the heavier side, the trade-off is justified when considering their rugged build and the protection they offer.
In conclusion, the Propper Men's Series 100 Side Zip Comp Toe Coyote Boot is not just another standard military boot. It offers a blend of modern technology and classic craftsmanship, making them a reliable choice for those in need of performance-driven footwear.

Great support great fit great price
Typically I wear 11.5, the 11 medium fit very well. The composite toe stops short of where I personally like it. (The wide may solve that problem I don't know.) My small toes are exposed on the sides. I notice extra glue holding on the sole and some paint or filler hiding some rough spots, not super messy could be a good thing or bad yet to bee seen, breathable indeed the leather is quite thin, seems quality. The stitching seems quality. At first glance I wonder if they're worth 120 due to the flaws I can nitpick, only time will tell. I will update if and when they fall apart. I have concerns they laces look like other materials I've seen that reflect I.R. light. I do not have a IR lense handy to tell you but they are that type of shiny under normal light. 4/5 stars because of the imperfections and shiney nylon. I'm worried I just paid $120 for a $60 Walmart boot(MADE IN CHINA.). Only time shall tell.
Just right for the high desert of Arizona. Comfortable for all day wear.
Ordered May 20th, 2023 for work as a mechanic.Originally boots were extremely comfortable and fit my purpose for safety-toed boots for work. After about 3 months the heel material, like many others, fell apart and ripped through. I ended up removing all the material and the boots were still comfortable. 2 weeks ago my supervisor pointed out I had a tear on the side of the boot although still usable will only probably last a few more months. For the price I expected to get at least a year or 2 out of these boots. When I was in the service I would stretch my government issued boots to almost 4 years. I will not be buying again nor would I recommend these boots.
I tried these boots originally because of the price. They looked great and felt great, but I ended up returning them immediately after reading all of the other reviews about them falling apart. So, I can really say anything past my initial impression. Hence the 3 stars.
Arrived today, tried it on- fantastic boot- BUT this one has steel toe. The steel toe was rubbing on my big toe and small toe. I’ve had this issue in the past and usually after a brief wear time have sore feet and blisters where the steel rubs my feet. I ordered 8.5 regular size. Fits great except that problem. I sent it back and ordered 8.5 NONE STEEL TOE.Love the colors, fit, construction- the only issue is the steel toe. If you need a steel toe- go 1/2 size larger probably to avoid discomfort
Bought this pair of boots June 1, 2023. After a month of duty, the plastic in the rear of the heel began to break down into small pieces and wore through the interior fabric of the heel area. This resulted in 5-10 small pieces of loose plastic (about the size of a grain of rice) inside each boot all day. It’s like walking around with little pieces of gravel in the boots…not painful, just extremely annoying and it wears out the heels of my socks. This was Prosper’s second/last chance with me and their Chinese-made garbage won’t be making any more appearances in my household.
I'm on my feet 8 to 12 hours a day and these are very comfortable boots.
