These shoes are simply AMAZING! I a large guy,and have wide feet. It is almost impossible to find any shoes that I like in an extra wide size ! I saw these here on Amazon and got them on the Try Before You Buy option for 7 days. As soon as I got them, I loved the styling and the tread on the under soleBut, what sold me the most, was the ease that my big wide feet slipped into these shoes and how amazingly comfortable they were, with room for my toes. I am a diabetic, and I have circulation problems which cause my feet to swell. I also have other issues which cause very painful feet and toes. I have bought inexpensive and expensive shoes and this is the first shoe that fits and doesn't hurt. There is room for my toes without pressure and I can walk without pain. I cannot speak to durability yet, but everything seems well put together. I will keep these and probably try another pair in a different style from this manufacturer. The only con is that they are heavier than I expected but I can live with that since I can walk in these. They will be used for day-to-day wear, no serious hiking, and worn in snow, ice and rain this winter. They feel warm now in mild (34-F) weather.
When I read the very positive reviews about this shoe, I had to get it. I have diabetes and arthritis in my foot joints and I am always hunting for a comfortable hiking boot. I have been wearing this boot since it arrived. It did require a little breaking in, but the stiffness was not significant. The toe box was larger than I expected. This size, even with thick socks on, would let my foot move around too much for lengthy hiking. That said, the shoe is indeed comfortable and for this price, it's a true bargain! My only nit-picky point is that I wish the loop on the back of the heel was large enough to put your finger through to help pull the boot on. Still, I highly recommend it.

For the price a good boot. I got size 16 and it was a little big with regular socks. Fit perfect if you ware thicker wool socks. Comfort is good.

These are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. My feet normally kill me. With these I can still stand easily at the end of the day. They keep the wet and cold out. They got snuggly; no slipping even when my feet get a bit sweaty. And they look nice with a pair of jeans
