This is my third pair. They start out as hiking and going out and about boots. As time goes on they become work outside and mow the grass boots and new one’s purchased! Very comfortable and durable
Great item, perfect fit & excellent delivery service!!! Thank You...
Full disclosure, I have yet to break these boots in completely. They fit very true to size, and are extremely wide for those of us that have a very wide foot. That's a hard thing to find in a shoe these days, especially when you have a 14 and 1/2 sized foot.My one complaint is that they are quite stiff even after several dozen outings. And they are rather large, and the best way that I can think to describe them as clunky. They're not exactly overly heavy, but they're just bulky. With those negatives out of the way, they are wonderfully waterproof, they are roomy and comfortable for a person with a very large and wide foot, their stylish looking, and they manage to hold up well under rough wear and tear of a large person.I would recommend these to anyone else who has an extremely wide and long foot, and is looking for a nice waterproof boot to get through a winter.I'm hoping that they will loosen up a bit once they are fully broken in, but there's stiff nature is not enough to keep me away.I only wish that I had had this brand available in the past, because they are a quality Boot at a wonderful price.
I got these to replace the couple of pairs of keen boots I have gone through, which I love but they just don't last, they always seem to split where they connect to the sole of the shoe, sucky. Hate spending that type of money on boots that fall apart in 6-9 months.I will say that at first I was not happy with these ones (Propét Men's Ridge Walker Hiking Boot), because it certainly seemed like the right shoe was a bit tighter and taller by about 1/8 to 1/4 inch. However, I was curious as to why and pulled out the insole, at this point I realized there was another insole in the right shoe. So, when I reduced the right shoe to a single insole it solved both issues, tight fit and taller, and now fits as well as the left.I will admit I haven't had them long and haven't worn them in rain, but have walked in snow and my feet do stay warm, quite warm actually. I would almost say that they are like hot boxes and I don't think wearing them in warm weather would be advised, but we will see.I do enjoy them so far and only time will tell if they will hold up.
Really bulky makes me feel unstable on my feet …. But they are comfortable
I have short, fat feet and have the most difficult time finding shoes that will fit. This shoe did not disappoint! The fit was better than expected. It is a warm shoe for winter, and very comfortable overall. If you need EEE Width, give this a try!
These boots are great when I'm sent the right size. I've worn through a pair of these before and they are waterproof and durable. They last about 7 months and considering I work with concrete thats not bad. However, I have been sent the wrong size 3 times now which tanks the star ranking I'm giving them. Amazon gave me a non-answer when I asked what I can do to make sure I get the right width of boot delivered. I've been sent the XX wide (5e) boot 3 times when I keep paying for and ordering the XXX wide (6e) boot.
This is my second pair of boots from Propet. I have Propet casual shoes, dress shoes, sandals, and hiking boots and all fit well and all look good, not like the usual orthopedic offerings. I'm a serious recreational hiker and use the boots a lot. My first pair held up well (about a year and a half of regular use). I don't know how Propet does it, style and performance - and you can't beat the price. I got this pair on sale for less than $90 - similar boots from Merrill and Oboes (my previous go-to brands) go for almost twice as much. I don't know how they do it, but I hope they keep doing it.
