I have larger feet. In the pass couple years of being on them constantly for work, they have ballooned to a size fifteen xx-wide. I had a lot of problems finding shoes let alone boots until I stumbled across Amazon advertising footwear from a company named Propet. I took a big chance and ordered some boots really hoping they would fit. I nearly cried. They fit like a glove. I laced them up, walked around, did some stretches and a couple block walks and they were comfortable. I really don't like the open metal eyes, but I was just really happy to find boots that not only fit but are really sturdy. They have survive rain, sleet, heavy snow, polar vortex and everything else and are still going strong. If you use them for the winter be sure to get some merino wool socks to help protect your feet from the cold. The boots can only do so much ( I live in Chicago and have to work outside). Thank you Propet for making these boots. I really mean it. Thank you.
I bought these for my husband who has a hard time finding shoes to fit him, given the size and width that he needs. We bought these at the last minute for him. I just recently purchased and love alot the Propet Women's Madison Ankle Lace Boot and suggested that he try these for himself. He was trying to decide between the 3E and 5E and went with the 5E. He said that the 5E was the right choice for him. He is very happy with these boots and they are waterproof.
I cant remember the last time i wore a pair of boots/shoes that actually fit my feet. Got the 5e. It feels like heaven. My entire life ive had to stuff my feet into what was only labeled as wide width. Always had to get a size bigger to make up for the cramped space. But these make my feet feel amazing. Perfect fit, perfect comfort. Im in heaven.
The Propet Boot is made to be worn with an orthopedic insert. If you just use the removable insert that comes with it, it will seem larger than a normal size. If you remove the factory insert and replace it with a prescription one or even a store purchased padded one it will fit perfect.This is a great boot for sensitive feet; very soft and light. It looks a lot more expensive than it is.
These look good, and are nice and plain (the way I like it). It's really frustrating that they size them with xxw meaning several sizes. What happened to the old system that worked? Unsurprisingly I got the xxw as I wear 14 6E, but these are 5E (same list size). These are too tight. I put them on, and they felt a bit snug at first, and sitting down with them is a pain if I have the top hooks laced. Not a huge deal, I just undid the top hooks and it was fine... For a few minutes. Then my feet started throbbing. They're just way too tight. Also: the metal hooks are kinda sharp, and I suspect the laces won't last long in them.Pros:- Appearance is nice- Weight is goodCons:- Too tight in the middle- Lacing system leaves much to be desiredOther thoughts:- The shield Walker looks similar and I'll be trying them on shortly. I wear ankle braces and they fit easily into this boot. It is more comfortable than other boots I have tried. I will know more about this boot after I have worn it for a while. As of this writing, I have only worn it for a week.
I really like the fit of these boots. They are comfortable and waterproof which are important when you are outside as much as I am.
First time with this brand but after a few weeks I'm happy.What is with the guy who's reviews' say 'wait til they fall apart?' Add 'Super Glue' to your purchase with these shoes.
