I'm not sure exactly what problems other people had with these, but my experiences have only been awesome. I've had these for over a year now and have worn them walking on numerous occasions on all different types of surfaces. They look absolutely fantastic and I've recieved numerous compliments on them. They're really comfortable too. My friend owns the same pair and I haven't seen them off of his feet yet. Maybe we got lucky? all I know is they're great shoes and I recommend them to anyone looking into buying themP.S. They look even better the more you wear them, after the leather gets worn in!
The shoes were nicely designed and made. Color and patterns are very nice, matching other Polo product such as belt. I have wide feet so it's rather tight for me. Otherwise, it's very nice pair of shoes.
This was and absolute steal of a deal. The toe box is a little narrow but they are real leather shoes made by Polo so each time the fit gets better and better.
Had been all over the city of Copenhagen to find these shoes in a fitting size. My foot size is usually 42 UK. Finally I managed to find a pair in a smaller size (41 UK) - i tried on the shoe and it fitted as expected, a number too small. ONE search on amazon.com and I found what I was looking for in the right size and color - and the prize was even lower than expected. Couldn't be more happier :)Love this product! The ideal boat shoe in a fine quality.
These may very well be made by the same company that provides shoes for Sperry but Sperry does not sell this shoe-maybe reserved for Polo? Bottom line, this is a very comfortable shoe that wears extremely well. It actually looks better when slightly weathered from wear. I am thinking about ordering another pair!
The shoe would be perfect, but it's smaller and narrower than my Sperry Top Siders. I'm returning and ordering the next side up.
