Surprisingly comfortable to walk in. They might be a little too tight when you receive them but you can just leave the shoes inside your car on a hot day and they will expand. That, or you can use a hair dryer. I had the same pair of these shoes for about 10 years. I absolutely love them. I ordered a size 8, and my size is usually a 7 or 7.5.
I wear an 8 or 8 1/2. With this brand, their sizing is somewhat inconsistent because I've had both 8 & 9 fit well. They don't offer 1/2 sizes in this shoe & that's a downfall. For me, 9 was sloppy too big but the 8 was ok for short periods. Bend the heel when you get them so you don't blister. That helps A LOT to break them in & it won't leave crease marks making your brand new shoes look old or worn out. I wore tights with these to help my foot slide in & while my heels didn't blister, the side of my foot did. These are incredibly stiff so do what you can to bend them aggressively prior to wearing them. They hold their shape incredibly well so no need to worry about them looking sloppy. If you don't want to wear tights/nylons with these, to help your foot slide in more easily, dist your feet with baby powder or cornstarch. Especially your heels. They're cute & very high so walk slow ;)
These shoes are extremely hot. Very high, very sexy, very pretty, and also surprisingly classy. Unlike other Bordello shoes, they don't have a lot of straps or tons of beads or feathers or lace, so they have a clean, lean look. They're obviously not built for comfort, but I can walk in them (slowly), and for stage presence, they're hard to beat. I bought these because I'm a musician who occasionally plays with rock bands, so I have a pair in Red Patent, which is good for most rock shows. My other sexy pair in Green Glitter ends up on stage every St. Patty's Day. :D If you're nervous about buying these shoes, stop worrying and pull the trigger. Just get 'em. They're really fun, and you won't be disappointed. Make sure you practice walking in them before you take them anywhere, though!
These shoes are so sexy! Can't tell you the last time I owned a pair of patent shoes. I love the HIDDEN platform style shoe. I tried on a pair made similar to these is the past and notices the toe area was very limited...I ordered theses a full size larger than I usually wear. A very good idea as these are still very snug. Fairly easy to walk in if your used to wearing heals at all. I would deffinately recommend these to any one wanting some extra height or just a very hot, sexy pair of shoes. They can pretty much go with anything.
These shoes are super cute, but they must run 2 sizes too small. I am quite upset that I cannot fit them because I really like them, but no matter wht I did, they just don't fit.
I'm a stiletto and platform high heel fanatic, the higher the better. These shoes are so gorgeous and comfortable. I usually wear a 7.5 size and I read the reviews about this shoe running small, so I ordered the size 8 and they fit perfect. My husband loves to see me strutting around in high heels and he thinks these shoes are extremely sexy. I absolutely love the cute, decorative box they came in and to top off the packaging, the shoes came individually wrapped in their own little bags inside the shoe box, obviously to keep them from rubbing together and creating scuff marks. These are NOT the kind of shoes I would just kick off and toss in the closet with my other shoes so I'll be keeping the adorable box they came in to store them because I want them to remain in glossy, shiney, perfect condition. Did I mention I love these shoes? LOL
I ordered these shoes in Red pat and they are super sexy and super tall. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and did as suggested and ordered a full size larger than my own. Glad I did. Length wise they fit perfectly. My only problem with this shoe is that the top of the shoe, the part that lays directly on top of your foot, does not fit. That part sits a full quarter inch above my foot which looks rediculous when trying to show off the shoe.
I ordered a green pair of these shoes to wear for St. Patty's day! They were a hit! Everywhere I went people commented on my shoes. I read the reviews before purchasing and here is my advice:1. These shoes run really small. I wear a size 7.5 and ordered a size 9. They fit perfectly.2. These shoes are not designed for someone with wide feet. If your feet are more than 3 inches wide, they will not fit comfortably in these shoes.3. The glitter around the edge of the shoes will rub and scrape your feet. I had some slight issues with it scraping around my heel. Just keep this in mind and possibly wear band aides on your heels before wearing the shoes to prevent scraping.Even though these shoes are about 6 inches high, I was able to walk in them no problem and my feet did not get tired. I will probably buy these again in a different color!
