The aesthetic of these loafers is another highlight. With their classic blucher style, they can effortlessly elevate your daily outfits. I have a narrow heel, and most loafers practically fall off my feet. This one fits me perfectly. (It's my second pair.) They're comfortable, well made, and nice looking. I have found that other Pikolinos loafers in the same size are too big for me, so it may take more than one try to find your correct size. But once you do, they're great shoes.
These shoes are made with extra soft leather so they work for me despite my misplaced arch on one foot makes me a difficult fit.
good good
These are great shoes. I have bought these exact shoes a couple of times over the last several years. (I have them in black, too.) They last a long time, wear really well, and I can wear them while walking all day while traveling.
I had a pair of these a few years ago and loved them, so I thought I'd get another pair. They look and feel nice, but the foam insole starting flaking apart about 2 months after I got them, leaving little pieces of red foam attached to my socks. I was past the return period so Amazon couldn't do anything about it, and the Pikolinos rep said since I bought them from Amazon, they couldn't (or wouldn't) do anything either.I still wear them, but I'm very disappointed in the quality and customer service, especially considering the relatively high price point.UPDATE: March 9,2017 - I still wear them, but now chunks of the foam are falling off and the leather below the insole is pulling away from the heel. Maybe I just got a defective pair, but I'm going to have to replace them way sooner than I should have to for shoes this expensive.
Quality shoe.
I've been wearing these shoes for years, and loved them. Note the past tense. I have wide feet and these always felt great, but no more. They are now smaller, tighter, and lower. The sole looks the same size, so they must have reduced the amount of leather significantly. I even tried stretching them - now I can more easily get them on and off, but they still feel terrible.Another change is that they've sewn little leather tags saying "Pikolinos" in white on the outside of each shoe. Why would anybody want that? If I could keep wearing the shoes I'd probably try to fill them in with black ink, since they can't be removed without replacing some stitching.
Pikolino's are hands down the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I am on my 5th pair. They wear well too. worth the money!
