I am a RN with SEVERAL back issues. Needless to say, I am always looking for a shoe that will give me support and help with leg/back pain. A nurse buddy told me to try these shoes. I was thinking, "They're a little pricy" but I've spent way more on a shoe, so I went ahead and ordered them. When I put them on, my feet slid right into bliss. I feel bouncy in them. They're just a little snug across the toe, so I use a thinner sock. I'm breezing through my 12 hour shifts with little difficulty. I'm in love and I'll definitely be buying more pairs.
This shoe is supportive without feeling tight or constricting. For me, light weight socks are better than the thicker wool socks. I have 3 surgically repaired toes on my right foot so I am very fussy about shoes. The Oofos shoes are well worth the price.
these shoes made my feet feel amazing not even 24 hrs after puttng on. my feet hurt so bad that I liturally had to hold on counters our what ever I can get my hands on to help me walk due to the pain in my feet. I bought MBT'S they also hurt my feet so bad and they didnt have enough arch support. these shoes give me the arch support I need and a soft enought walk that I am no longer getting up and holdng on to things, and my hip no longer hurts as well. It's so nice not to be taking Ibprofen and tylenol every day.
I love the Oofos flip-flops, and am on my third pair. When I needed a good pair of work shoes for my standing job, I specifically wanted this brand. I mulled over all of the reviews and decided to give them a chance. They work better than my current Sketchers memory foam, tennis shoes and are very comfortable. They do have a high arch in them but I like that. but they are not nearly as comfortable and supportive as the flip-flops that I’ve had for years. They felt a little weird for the first day I wore them, but but now I have acclimated to them and they feel fine. I would go a half size up. I wear a 7 1/2 and the eights were perfect. The shoe itself is light and comfortable.
These shoes are a game changer! I have an extremely high arch and over the past year have developed extreme burning and pain in my left foot from the high arches. I stared using arch supports, but still having pain daily from just normal living. I wore these shoes for the first time and went to mall with my daughter and was on my feet for around 3 hours with no pain. It's like walking on a memory foam mattress that cradles your high arch. I already love these shoes and hope they continue to keep the pain at bay.
These are fairly comfortable but run unusually short in length (I ordered a women's 12). Also, due to the stretchy top material, they don't hold my feet in good alignment. Sadly, must return.
It KILLS me to write this, because I have been singing OOFOS' praises for years. I swear I have encouraged at least 25 people to buy their flip flops.I have had these shoes for 3 months - I bought them because I am obsessed with their flip flops/sandals as they have basically cured my horrible plantar fasciitis. I wanted to be able to do a bit more walking, and the flip flops (while great) aren't awesome for long walks. I saved up for a while to be able to justify these because, let's be honest - it hurts to spend $60 on the (clearly injectable-foam-molded) flip flops, let alone double the price on pretty ugly shoes. But I did it.I have worn these maybe 5 times total, only used them to walk on paved easy trails, maybe clocking a total of under 10 miles over the course of a few hikes. As you can see, they look terrible. The soles are pitted and already disintegrating. The edges of the foam are showing permanent compression lines. They feel like they have no support already. The design of the shoe is also confusing - the band across the top is in a strange place and offers no support and no real aesthetic value. The back green tabs have given me heel blisters (solved by wearing higher socks), and they are both too wide and too narrow in the tip! It's like they were designed by someone who has never worn shoes before.Honestly, if these were $35, I wouldn't be complaining. It would be a case of "you get what you pay for" and we'd all move on with our lives. But for $120, I expected to be wow'd and never want to take them off. But even THEN, I could overlook how hideous they are and the price even, IF they actually felt like they were well-made durable shoes. But they do not.If you want a great pair of walking shoes, and you're about to spend this kind of money on them, skip OOFOS and get Oboz.
The Oofos shoes are great for my feet. I bought these before a trip to a theme park, giving myself time to make sure they'd work for me. They did not disappoint! I contacted Oofos through their website because there was a recommendation to order half a size larger than I typically wear. I have a pair of Oofos flip-flops so I wanted to confirm I should choose half a size larger than that. The answer is yes. And if you choose lace-up Oofos, choose a size larger. I'm glad I did that. These are great shoes for me! I highly recommend them.
