I have arthritis is my big toe joint. These boots keep my foot stable and reduce pain. Also good arch support.
These hikers are awesome! Ready to hit the trail as soon as you put them on!
The color is very different than the picture but the boots are excellent!
I tried these on at Sportsman warehouse and they fit beautifully, but because they didn’t have the color i wanted i decided to order these online. They fit like a glove just like the ones at the store and have wonderful arch support and made of beautiful material, but the right shoe has a pointless seam near the heel that digs into me. The left shoe did not have this. That is ridiculous. I realize these are not the top brand of hiking shoe, but i had heard from experienced outdoors people that this brand is reputable and worth the investment. If this one pair is anything to go by, think again. I am giving it one more shot and buying the same ones again (which have shot up another $10 in price since i ordered the first pair 😒) in hopes that the next pair will not have this flaw and that this mistake was simply a one-off. If the same thing happens then my one star review stands. Such a huge disappointment.
These shoes have saved my ankles in a way I didn't think was possible. I used to twist my ankle at least 2-3 times on any given walk, much less a hike. Since buying these I have twisted my ankle a grand ZERO times over > 25 miles. Waterproofing is great and grip is exceptional. 10/10, would recommend.
Used to wear KEEN targhee. These aren't as good and make my feet hurt. Bought some insoles which mad it a little better. They do seem more durable.
Very comfortable and light enough with good grip but as soon as water meets the boot, forget it, you’ll have wet feet.
I have a size 7 1/2 in most shoes but I had already ordered a 7 1/2 and my arch wasn’t sitting right in the shoe so I thought I’d order down but it didn’t sit in those right either. Like the arch of the shoe is so far back from where I feel like the arch of your foot usually is.Ended up wearing the 7 1/2 on my hikes since I ran out of time to find a different pair and was covered in blisters. I could barely walk by the 3rd and 4th day.Don’t really recommend these unless it’s just my foot.I also felt the ankle support was super sturdy which was good and bad. Nice for ankle rolling but left bruises all around my leg from walking up and the front of the boot cutting into my leg and going down with the back slamming against my leg the entire time.
