Exactly as expected. These are just a great pair of shoes he will be able to wear all year. It had been 3 years since he replaced this pair. They are very well made and supportive.
These shoes came to me all discolored and blotchy. Some parts were shiny black while other parts were like dull black. Also, some parts looked black, and others looked grey in color. It looked like there was some kind of film on the shoes. One shoe had a shiny oil like stain on the top front that couldn't be removed. The leather also did not look or feel like traditional leather shoes. It felt very cheap and papery like. I returned them.
Be careful when you wear in snow. Sole is not that great and makes very slippery if snow there. Falling risk hazard and i fall down one time. Not reccommend.
