I went to the outdoor store, tried several boots. I wasn't happy and the prices where outrageous!!! I decided to order using the wardrobe option, I ordered 3 pairs, this ones and 2 other ones from the major brands. After trying all 3 these ones where the winner, not only on comfort but also in price! They outdid the major brands. Honestly the ones that where $100+ looked cheap compared to this ones. I've had them for about 6 months and I'm still very happy with them. I've gone hiking and camping, I tend to place my feet near fire pits and rings, my old ones, I got from a outdoor store, melted. This ones can resist heat, they are water proof and they are true to size.
I am really happy with these boots. They fit well and are comfortable from the start. I plan to wear them as motorcycle boots and they totally fit the bill. Waterproof, the tongue is all connected so I don't get air past it and consequently they keep my feet warm. They are comfortable to walk around in when I arrive at the destination.10/11/2017 Update: I wore these on a motorcycle trip to New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California. The boots performed very well. Very comfortable, kept my feet warm and dry. Worked well for walking around sightseeing. I am really happy
Solid and sturdy boot but too stiff also does NOT fit true to size!!! I wear an 8 and returned for a 9 and could still prob go up another 1/2 size.
I wear women's size 7 and ordered size 7 and it fits nicely. The toe box initially was a bit tight but as it's breaking in it is becoming more tolerable. I've so far gone to 4-5 short to medium length hikes in this and put in about 30 miles. I assume by the time I completely break in the boot, it will be fairly comfortable boots to wear. I like the ankle support and the traction and waterproofing seem to be solid. The only con would be because it doesn't have any vents, in hotter weather, it can get a little hot but that is to be assumed with this design of boots. Overall I'm satisfied with this boots and would recommend to someone who's looking for solid waterproof boots on a budget!
So far, so good. They are quite stiff which makes the toe area feel a little cramped. This isn't something I usually have a problem with, so I think it's this shoe. Hopefully, with wear, they'll become more comfortable. They seem to be well made overall.
These boots are incredibly too small. I’m a size 8.5. I had originally ordered and 8.5, and returned them for a 9, only to find out that the 9 was also too small. The tips of my toes still met the front of the boot, which is no good for hiking. You’ll lose toenails that way. So I decided against ordering and 9.5, and kept rocking my 7 year old Vasque boots.
bought the same exact boot last fall loved it so much, bought a second pair on Amazon. same boot, same size...but it's not!!! way to small. says it is the same size returning. the other pair was never tight, even in beginning
Only shoes that work for me. Very as supportive. The soles are very thick and support my feet like no other shoe.
