These boots worked out great for hiking in Nevada on vacation. Purchased just prior to leaving, a bit concerned about using right out of the box. The boots are light and very comfortable. I think it is great quality and reasonably priced. I would recommend.
Amazon delivered in a day, I put them on and promptly went for a 6 mile hike in pretty heavy rain and muddy conditions. MY feet stayed completely dry and warm - and considering this was the first time wearing these shoes, they were surprisingly comfortable. No blisters or issues! Very nice shoe at $38. and reasonably lightweight as well. We'll see how long they last but at this price you can't go wrong with even just one season out of them
Didn’t fit as expected. Normally I use 11 on boots but this ones seems like a 10.5 , compared to caterpillar or other brands. They are wider than the images. The quality seems to be good , but I will return this ones.
Perfect fit. Great quality. I’ve paid three times as much for hikers that were no better made. They’re also light and breathe well. I love them.
But not wide enuff for me
I return this due to being too large. I am a size 9 in sneakers. I completely forgot that I am a size 8/8.5 in boots. So I believe it is my fault, forgetting that I am size smaller when it comes to boots. I only returned it because I needed it for a trip the next day so I went to REI instead. If I had more time, I would have exchanged it for a better fit as if did seem like a good quality hiking boot. Overall, go down 1 size.
I'll be getting my next pair of boots from Northside
Well...........These shoes have been weighed, and measured and have left me wantingI rated these a 5 at fist and was happy with this rating till nowI am changing them to a 2 should be a 1 but I got 6 months of fair to middling use out of themafter a flat 5mile hike, both boots have developed "HOLES" in the "HEELS"Very disappointing, with decent tread left on the soles I was left wearing crocks for the remainder of my trip as I was constantly emptying out ROCKS out of the boots!!!!I mean, I could place my index finger clear though the heel!!!sorry but I will not buy these again, nor would I recommend themSo disappointed
