When it comes to comfort and performance, the Northside Baby Rampart MID Hiking Boot excels in providing the support that little feet need during adventurous outings. The moisture-wicking lining is particularly beneficial as it helps to regulate temperature and keep feet dry, allowing children to focus on their fun instead of discomfort.
The boot's padded collar and tongue ensure maximum comfort, even after hours of wear. This design feature is especially important for toddlers who are still developing their walking skills and may experience fatigue more quickly.
One of the standout aspects of these boots is their traction. The multi-directional rubber outsole gives parents peace of mind knowing that their child can run and explore without slipping. Whether on gravel paths or grassy fields, this boot offers the stability and grip needed for safe outdoor adventures.
Moreover, the quick lace-up closure allows for swift adjustments, and the heel pull strap is an appreciated addition that enables kids to take off their shoes independently. While some might find the maintenance of suede a bit more demanding, the overall performance and comfort provided make it well worth the effort.

I was nervous they would be too heavy for my 2 yr old but she hikes and plays in them just fine! The quality is great, very comfortable from what I can tell (no blisters) and she reaches for them often. Win across the board!
My son is 3.5yrs old, normally wears a size 9 toddler shoe size and we bought these boots in a size 9 - so far they have been great hiking boots and fit true to size. He LOVES them and calls them his stomping boots. So far he has gone over 20miles in these boots this season with no blisters (we bought GOOD hiking socks - that REALLY matters) and he has had no complaints of his feet hurting after a long day of hiking. His longest hike so far in one day is 4.5miles and he never complained once about his feet! We also do not carry our son when hiking so he has done ALL those miles on his own two feet! Great boots! I plan to buy the next size up or two here shortly just in case I can't buy them again later
So cute and my toddler (15 mo) loves wearing these boots. He was wobbly in them at first, but then took off RUNNING because of the good traction. The only thing is that the velcro strap is too short to cover his chunky ankles. We purchased a size up to see if that would help, but had the same problem, so returned the larger pair. Luckily, the shoe fits well enough that he can wear them even with the velcro undone.
Sturdy and durable! We love these kids hiking boots.
Wonderful for my 22 month old on hikes. They are a bit heavy though. His normal shoes are incredibly light and can see a slight difference in his walk while wearing these. We waited awhile before having him wear heavier shoes. Over love these
We can’t vouch for whether these are waterproof but they were comfortable for our 3 year hiking in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He will be outgrowing this size before we will use again so fit the budget.
These are rugged and easy to put on, fit well and my daughter liked them...she is only 4.5 but very vocal when shoes don't fit. Hiked once so far and so far so good although it is not wet or muddy right now so I can't comment on how waterproof they actually are.
Best hiking boots ever my boy is so happy with them ! Fits great and very comfortable we gone hiking with my 3yr old boy and he doesn’t complain at all I really love them on him there so cute
