When you’re venturing into the great outdoors, every step counts, and the Nevados XP Men's Boomerang II Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots are designed to make those steps count. The breathable suede upper material ensures that your feet stay comfortable and cool even during long hikes on warm days. With a stiff midsole, these boots provide excellent arch support, allowing you to traverse challenging terrains without feeling fatigued.
One of the standout features is the boot's ankle collar, which offers additional support while preventing debris from entering, ensuring that your hiking experience remains enjoyable and distraction-free. The heel and toe bumpers add another layer of protection, especially when navigating rocky trails. This attention to detail proves that these boots are built for serious hikers.
Comfort-wise, the specially designed heel stabilizer minimizes heel slip, reducing the risk of blisters and foot pain. As someone who has spent countless hours on the trails, I appreciate how crucial this feature is for longer hiking trips. The memory foam insole conforms to your foot, making it feel like you're walking on clouds.
On the downside, like many high-performance boots, they might require a short break-in period before they feel perfect. Additionally, the color options are somewhat limited, which might not appeal to everyone's taste. However, the benefits far outweigh these minor shortcomings.
Overall, if you're looking for a reliable pair of hiking boots that combine comfort, durability, and performance, the Nevados XP Men's Boomerang II Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots are a fantastic choice. They’re ready to handle whatever nature throws at you while keeping your feet comfortable throughout your journey.

i wore out my first pair. I love Nevados.
I ordered the shoe because of favorable past experience with the brand and model.
These shoes fit nice as expected but needed more insole cushioning. I quickly added that, and it also improved the fit that was a little loose. (I have skinny tender feet). The soles seem good for now but I'm anxious to see how they wear. I walk a lot and I've experienced where some brands have hollow traction lugs that wear out quickly and leave holes. I sure hope these don't do that! So far so good.
For me, these are far from the most comfortable boots I've owned. I have added a set of memory foam insoles and a cheap padded insol to these boots just to make them a little better. They're like walking on plywood, barefoot. Not much if any shock absorbing comfort, hence the reason for adding more padding.I'll keep 'em because they were much less expensive than others from Amazon, ebay or even the sporting goods stores.Maybe one day I'll get lucky and find super comfortable boots at an affordable price. I'll probably have to wait until 2024 when Donald Trump is back in the captain's chair and fixing the mess that the Biden administration has made!
I purchased these on July 15th, and received them on July 17th. I have worn them probably 4 or 5 days a week since then. It is now mid October and they are already falling apart. Both the left AND right shoe have large holes in the sides where the shoe flexes when walking. This is supposed to be the "reinforced" area with the black armor. Also, the inside heel of both shoes have disintegrated. The fabric lining along with all of the foam padding have long since worn away, revealing the hard plastic heel. These shoes looked great and were very comfortable. I had high hopes for them, but they are cheaply made and only hold up for a few months under moderate use. My last shoes were Merrell. I wore them daily for 6 years before they showed the same amount of wear that these 3 month old shoes now have.HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!
Product to be made a lot better claims it's water resistant going six blocks in rain boots start to leak through less than 6 to 7 months bottom of boots wore out and holes started to show not made very well and not durable
I really can't remember how many Nevados that I have worn out working in them. They feel good and are long lastiing even under extreme conditions. The only thing that I would like to see would be half sizes. I actually wear an 11 1/2 put have to get either an 11 or a 12. The 11 is just too small and the 12 a hair big but not enough not to wear them. They are fantastic boots for working and as well as hiking difficult rocky and mountainous trails. Prices are great as is the packaging and shipping. Thanks much...Bill
