The Muck Boot Women's Hale Multi-Season boots have garnered attention among outdoor enthusiasts for their practical design and comfort. One of the most attractive features of these boots is their 100% waterproof construction. Whether you're wading through puddles or trudging through muddy trails, your feet will remain dry.
Another highlight is the lightweight, breathable mesh lining. This feature promotes ventilation, which is especially helpful during prolonged wear, ensuring that your feet don't get overheated or sweaty. It's an ideal choice for those who enjoy long hikes, gardening, or simply spending time outdoors.
Designed specifically for women's feet, these boots offer ample support, thanks to their specially crafted last and cushioned insoles. They can handle extended periods of walking or standing without causing discomfort, which is a major advantage.
The self-cleaning ribbed outsole enhances the boot's functionality by providing excellent traction on slick surfaces. This feature is crucial for maintaining stability and safety in unpredictable outdoor conditions. Additionally, the flexible neoprene material allows for great comfort and adapts to the contours of your feet, helping to prevent blisters and chafing.

I got these for a fishing trip that was unfortunately cancelled, but I now wear them practically every day. They keep me super warm (I always have cold feet) and I can't believe I waited so long to get something that would let me wade around in streams. The neoprene is thick and sturdy. I've had enough room to wear thick socks - I think I went up about a half size from my usual just based on the sizes that were available. They can get a little sweaty inside - not super breathable - so I probably won't use these as much in summer. My calves are on the muscular side, I can get about one layer of jeans/leggings/etc under the boot, but a second layer (e.g. rain pants) has had to go over the top). The tread is not typical boot tread - it's ridged and I've found it to be super grippy - both for me on slippery rocks and stuff like sticky poo on the boots (a tradeoff but I will take it).I also am really glad I went with an attractive neutral design - I was torn between the herringbone and a camo design that was on discount but similarly priced, and I've found these boots look super cute in lots of settings. Get the ones you'll wear every day, even if they're a little more, trust me.
Good for going out and also for gardening
Love these boots! Very comfortable they do run a little big. Returned first one and went with the next size down, fits perfect. Very good quality for a great price
Bought these for my wife. She has destroyed every pair of boots I've bought her. These are great pair of boots for a strat. I'll update review after 6 months, if I remember.
This is my second pair of Hale Muck brand boots, and I specifically searched high and low for them, because I loved the lightness and comfort in the first pair I had. My first pair started to leak on the top of the foot part after about a year's wear. Keep in mind, I wore these through mud, cornstalks, cow manure, walking miles daily in them to check cows during calving season and all facets of farm work. These boots are designed as waterproof rainboots, not particularly heavy duty for chores. But the comfort overrules everything else, in what I want when I'm walking on foot for sometimes six miles a day. These boots take me through everything--cow manure, creek beds, climbing hills, walking through cornfields. After my first pair wore out and started leaking, I continued wearing them for another year, lining them with plastic bags to keep my socks clean. Even after getting this new pair to replace them, I can't throw the old ones away--they will be my backup pair of work boots! I love this brand. I wish they were a bit more durable, because for the price, I'd expect them to last longer and not leak. But the comfort and lightness and ease of working and wearing them for hours without any rubbing or irritation beats any other boot I've ever tried, and that makes these boots worth every penny.
I'm a half-size and have narrow feet, so I tried a half-size down from what I normally wear and they were so small I couldn't straighten my toes. So I sent them back and got the next size up and my feet swam in them. When I tried to walk, my feet slipped all the way out of them with each step. So I added a thick insole on top of the existing insole (and wore my thick wool socks) and I can now walk in them (carefully) without my feet slipping all the way out each step. But since I got these for deep mud, I have to be extremely careful as my foot will pull out of them with the slightest resistance on the boot. So I sort of shuffle around in the mud. This doesn't make me particularly agile, which is a drawback as I'm around some spunky horse and I need to be able to move slightly faster than a dozing tortoise. Alas, they are the best I have been able to do. They are waterproof (excellent), and warm enough for 20F days (also excellent), and I recognize not everyone has narrow, between-sizes feet, so I wish you better luck than me (but be warned you do have narrow between-sizes feet -- these will be a struggle)!
Bought a half size under my usual 8-1/2, the 8s fit perfectly and are totally waterproof and lightweight enough in hot humid NJ weather. Definitely worth the $$.
I was worried about the calf size but they fit perfectly. There is a little stretch which I like. I’m borderline wide calfs (not sure my exact measurements) but these worked perfectly.
