Been looking for an ankle height rubber boot for a while now. Was dead set on Lacrosse brand as I've had good experiences with their knee high rubber boots. Got lucky and inadvertently came across the Muck Apex on sale. Never owned a pair of Mucks but figured for the price it was worth giving them a try. I've only worn them twice the first time for well over 8 hours. Boots are very comfortable, fit in my opinion runs just slightly on the larger side but not enough to make the boot uncomfortable or suggest sizing down. Boots feel well built. Time will tell how well they hold up.

These are great, mud and rain boots. We live in the country always going in and out of the house. Need something to get in and out of easily these are perfect. These are my second pair that I bought. The first pair were gift -Father’s Day. I like those so much. I bought a second pair. Keep one in the house and one in the shop.
My husband says these feel good to wear. He likes the way they zip and feel supportive around his wide ankles, and they are easy to get into. Although I think they are a little heavy like his work boots, he says they feel light when wearing.
Boots look well made. . Just too narrow
The zipper was difficult to work out of the box. I thought a touch of water based lubricant would help. It allowed me to get the zipper up and down. Within 30 days, the zipper broke. The boot is true to size and I really liked the overall look and fitment. That said, I had to add insoles day one. The factory insoles are nearly nonexistent with zero cushion or arch support. It's just sad that we are still paying high prices for such poor quality. Think about it .. this is just rubber. There's no expensive ingredients. At least make it high quality constructionI have to give this a "do not buy." I have contacted the company about warranty replacement so I reserve the right to change my mind if the send another pair at no cost, and that pair functions properly.
These boots were purchased as a gift and these are very good quality! Muck you can't go wrong! Also the price was so unbelievable. Thank you!
I have slim feet and it is a relatively snug comfortable fit on the front half of my feet but the ankle area and is very loose. The boots are great for doing activities that don't require much walking. Otherwise you will get too much movement.
