As described. Have had Muck boots for years. Great brand.
I bought these for my husband. He tried these and a pair o Frogg Toggs. After wearing them around the house, this pair of shoes is the clear winner. They fit well, are true to size, and are comfortable. They slip on and off easily, are waterproof, and keep his feet warm.
My feet hurt every day. I'm 6'1" and ~250 lbs, 52 years old, and very active. I've spent my life on my feet and in boots of one kind or another. I'm ex-military and work in the power generation and natural gas industry, and am always outdoors hiking or working. I've tried dozens of boots, shoes, sneakers, etc and always ended up in the same place, with my feet killing me. The only time they didn't hurt was in the winter when I was wearing my Muck boots.I stumbled across these shoes on amazon and thought I would give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised. After a few hours of yard work (in the summer) my feet didn't hurt and were no hotter than in my regular footwear. Last weekend I wore them on a few easy walks and hikes and guess what, NO PAIN!They are comfortable, not too hot, not slippery, and feel great all day. The only downside I can find is that my feet tend to twist and and slide when slide loaded, like when traversing an incline sideways. Not a big deal as the benefits significantly outweigh that one shortcoming. Will definitely buy again.
I have always like the MUCK line and will continue to purchase. However the last 2 times I purchased the size was way too small.I wear a US 13 but the 13 was so small I could not get them on. I exchanged for a 14 and they fit like the 13 should have fit.
Great shoe-boot
My favorite shoes
It was because I purchased a pair of knee high Mucks in 2007 that I still wear by the way, based on the reviews I decided to purchase 1 pair of their Men's Pro Low Excursions for light is in the yard and garden. So, in early June, after reading the reviews it seemed that it would be a no brainier to purchase this product; nope, not so much.I had to return/ exchange the shoes with Amazon after less than thirty days of use because the tread had separated from the sole on the front part of the shoe.Wait, it gets even better!!!This Monday, June 29th I received the replacement pair from Amazon ( Great company by the way!) and wore them for the first time this Tuesday. Well it's now Thursday July 2nd and low and behold I look down at my shoe and the tread is separated from the sole on the heel this time over the course of two and one half days if use.It seems much has changed since 2007. It is clear they have a serious quality control problem in China where they have them manufactured.Amazon declined to replace them a second time and instead will refund the purchase price.I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.JRScottsbluff, NE
My husband works in a marsh area and loves these shoes!
