Although the boots I bought were adorable I am very disappointed with them. I bought the boots because of two reasons: the low price and the material they were made of: leather. I honestly do not think that are of leather. I live in Costa Rica and I had to pay a shipping of $47 to bring the boots from USA, I paid that price because I loved the boots. My surprise was that I have only used them twice and they are flaking. They look as if they fell a coat of paint. I have three pairs of leather boots of diferent brands and I never had problems with them. That's why I did not hesitate a second to buy them... I love leather shoes. It is a very durable material. It is impossible that leather will present this kind of problems. I bought the boots for rainny season but I think they will be complete damage once they will get wet.Unfortunately, I can not return my boots to the seller because I would have to pay a shipping of $42 to send them back to USA and lost $87 only in postage. This is too much money for me.The seller wants to make me a 20% refund of my money but I sincerely believe that it is not enough. I want the leather boots that they promise to me in the Amazon page. Also, I have always bought 7.5 M size and these boots are a bit larger than the other three pairs I have. I thought I had bought a beautiful quality leather boots and did not! You could see the images, those are my boots ...
I own and love Miz Mooz shoes, and have tried on many styles. When I saw these boots on Amazon at this AMAZING price, I couldn't pass them up. I ordered them, received them quickly (this seller offers very reasonable shipping charges), but was quite disappointed when I opened the box. I could immediately see a difference in quality compared to my other Miz Mooz boots. The leather was kind of plastic-y looking and stiff. The fit was also off. I wear a size 9 in other Miz Mooz styles, but these were far too narrow and short in the foot, but fit nicely in the calf. Bottom line, you are getting what you pay for, and in a slightly smaller size than normal. I had to return mine.
These boots came right on time and are exactly what I was hoping for! Excellent quality and something I will enjoy for a long time!
