When I first slipped them on, I was a bit taken aback. The double braided straps across the toes are a bit on the puffy side, which tips the scales to more "grandma" than "ethnic-chic." You get over that quickly once someone compliments you, and you realize these look great with skinny jeans and skirts. P.S. Miz Mooz shoes are freaking awesome.
