Minnetonka Womens Maasai Moc Black Size 7 Review

I have worn Minnetonkas for years as my "indoor shoes". (We use outdoor and indoor shoes so as not to bring dirt into the house.) They are perfect for that purpose - very good looking, easy to slip on and off without having to "sit down and put on my shoes"). Comfy, but dressier and better looking than slippers. Very good quality for the price. I only wish they had some arch support. HOWEVER - all my Minnetonkas (usually 'Kiltys') have all been size 8 1/2 and fit really well. (My regular shoe size is between an 8 1/2 and a 9, closer to a 9.) This time, i ordered an 8 1/2 in a "Women's Fringed Moccasin". It seemed somewhat loose, but i though it would be OK. It wasn't - much too big. So, I ended up giving that pair away, and ordering a 2nd pair (same style) in a size 8. They're great, but it was an expensive process! I don't know what's changed, but I'm unhappy that the sizes aren't consistent between styles. Maybe it's best to order 2 sizes and send one back.

I love these shoes. The color is gorgeous and the beading is just perfect. The small problem is they are a tad too big. I always take a seven and a half shoe.So either they run a bit big or my dopey feet are shrinking! I will buy inserts tomorrow to take up some slack. I totally love these shoes and will make them fit.The box and packaging were perfect. The width is a tad wide and there is very little arch support. But an insert should solve the problem.I cannot blame the shoes if my feet shrunk. Unfortunately, unlike the rest of the world, when I lose a bit of weight, the fat comes off my ears and feet first.I LOVE THESE SHOES❤️❤️❤️

After reading the reviews I purchased these shoes 1 size smaller than I normally wear. I am almost always a true 6.5, and the 5.5 fit me perfectly. The first time I wore them, they rubbed the top of my foot at the base of my little toe where they were stitched. I purchased some no-show loafer liners, and I have not had any further problems with them rubbing. They have also stretched out in width and provide a perfect fit. These mocassins look so cute with skinny jeans. I love the tan color and the beaded design - they match so many things. I have worn them for trips to the mall that involve a lot of walking, and they are so comfortable I don't notice them at all. They are also very quiet because of the rubber bottoms. I wore these to an outdoor party after a heavy rain. I ended up walking on dirt and wet grass for most of the night, and I thought that these shoes would be ruined for sure. When I arrived home I was ecstatic to find that only the soles had grass on dirt on them, and they cleaned up perfectly. I will be buying these again when this pair wears out.

Minnitonka moccasins: I love Minnitonka. My current pair were getting a bit - well worn - so decided time for new ones. These are really nice. great. Except -- sizing seems a bit different and these are about 1/2 size too big.I wear size 5 (EU 35); for some reason these are EU 36, but marked size 5. Too big. Seems some manufacturers use 35 or 36 for size 5. Anyway, had to return.BUT.....got the fur lined slippers...size 5...and they are perfect and warm! Gray/felt, very cool mocs.

I love these Minnetonka Mocs. When I took them from the box I thought they were going to be too narrow but my feet slide right in and I wore them all day in comfort. I usually wear an 8.5W or 9 reg but since they don't come wide and I read comments that said they run large I just got 8.5 regular. They were comfortable from the minute I put them on. So soft and the turquoise color is just beautiful. The beading is really nice too. I always need arch supports as I have a very high arch but after wearing these all day my arches did not bother me. That may change once I wear them outside on concrete sidewalks but at home they are perfect. I like them so much I actually ordered a second pair, little bit different style, in brown. I used to wear Minnetonka mocs back in the 50's and I have to say, 'Minnetonka is still tops in moccasins'.

This is the first pair of Minnetonka moccasins I bought. They do run A bit large, especially in the width. I bought the turquoise and they are beautiful -- but a word of caution, they have no arch support. Also If you have bunions, they could be uncomfortable for you. I normally wear a size 7 1/2 and I bought a seven. They adjust to your feet quite easily After being worn a short while. I wore mine with socks initially and they are more comfortable after they stretched out. There are some places inside where they are stitched together that might cause irritation. I am still deciding to buy another pair.

Nothing but love for these cute little flats. I have terrible trouble with the fit of shoes and almost never wear them without socks. These Minnetonka Moccasins are SO comfortable they required NO break in period! I can wear these all day at work without socks and without the slightest discomfort. As close to wearing slippers as it gets but classy enough for work with a pair of black pants. Looks great for everyday too paired with black leggings or skinny jeans - SO HAPPY! Highest quality materials and the bead work on the upper is stunning. Other reviewers have said these run large - no idea what is up with that as I wear a size 8 and the 8 in these fit like a glove.

The color is beautiful and the length (size) is correct, but is somehow too wide in the middle (although it says “medium” width) but the shoe is small and pinches at the toes. Overall the shoe seems flimsy, with the sole not nearly as thick and supportive as the photo of it suggests, and the inner sole is made up of thin pieces of colored leather(?) glued in !! I have the distinct feeling these would not last a mo nth of total wear.
