So cute, comfy, and fun! Fringe puts a smile on my face, and these boots make my feet happy. As other reviewers note, they are a bit narrow, but this works for me. There is between a quarter inch and a half inch of padding, but again, as others note, no additional support for the arch. They aren't boots for hiking or walking around all day. But if I've only got a few miles to walk during my day, then these are perfect. One of my bows tends to come undone, but I consider this a very minor issue. I may tie a different kind of knot to avoid the problem. Socks do get stained--even if boots don't get wet, but this was to be expected from an unlined, dyed suede boot. I love the brown color! Very neutral. Seriously, I could wear these almost every day, but then I'd wear them out in a matter of months! Love these boots. Great style, good comfort, and fun swishing noises when I walk!
I really like this boot! It couldn't be any cuter and for me is very comfortable, however I don't think they will fit everyone.Sizing wise, I think these boots might be too narrow for many people but on my medium/narrow feet they are perfectly snug. The boots expand by adjusting the strings in back to fit wide calves. The soles don't have any support so they feel like slippers - some people will find this problematic but I like them this way.
Boots arrived promptly. I have owned many Minnetonka boots in my life and have been pleased with all of them.. They wear so very well and are comfortable. With these boots I wanted to wear thick socks so I ordered a half size larger. I normally wear an 8 1/2 so I ordered a 9 Glad I did! They seem to run a tat small on sizing but I am pleased. Have had so many compliments on them. They look great! Will definitely stay with Minnetonka for a long time to come. Made very well.
I do love this pretty boots! its good quality that's why its a bit pricey. the only problem I found was that I have to use it with bandages on my ankle because the material of the boots was scratching me since its a bit narrow and I got small sores but wearing two bandages on each ankle feels fine and with a few uses the boots should stretch out.But its worth it, the little boot's strips hangs really smooth and nice the whole boots is just very cute and good quality I love that the sole is durable since I am wearing it in the rainy days and probably sometimes in winter .
I normally wear an 8 1/2. Before ordering these I noticed other reviews said they ran small, so I ordered a 9. I should have ordered a 10! They run really small. Cute design, well made, but be aware of the size issue.
These were about an inch too long and just a little to narrow, but after wearing them for a couple of days they stretched a little and fit perfectly! I bought a real sheepskin insole for extra cushion and now they are a perfect fit! I wear them all day long and forget they are even on. I love these boots!
I almost did not order these boots because of all the conflicting reviews. Some people found them too small, others to big, some said they were narrow, some said they were not!!!! Holy minnetonka, bat man! What's a girl to do? So I ordered them in the next size ( size 7 - I wear 6.5). They fit great and look wonderful. They are roomy but this is good because being suede they will not stretch out of shape and I have room for a nice boot sock. Glad I took the chance - Love my Minnetonkas.
