One of the key highlights is the adjustable ankle strap, which allows you to customize the fit according to your preference, giving you both security and style.
When it comes to versatility, the Anja Mule excels. Pair it with jeans for a laid-back look or dress it up with a skirt for a more sophisticated outfit. The peep-toe design adds just the right touch of flirtation, making them perfect for summer outings or even indoor events. These shoes are fabulous! They are extremely comfortable and stylish. They are unique because of the wood clog soles. Highly recommended.
I’ve been eyeing several Swedish clogs for sometime but I wasn’t willing to pay $100-200+/pair. So when these came on sale, I quickly grabbed them. And I’m so happy I did! The leather is nice & supple, well stapled to the outsole. The fit is just right. They’re not heavy. Overall, my feet are comfortable in the clogs. And I am very satisfied with my purchase. 😁
I purchased Mia shoes several years ago and they were made so well they still look brand new. I purchase the same shoe in black 3 different times and the toe opening is so large it doesn’t fit well and one pair the openings were clearly two different sizes. I had to return the shoes. Sad the quality has gone way down.
These are great! I have another pair of Mia wooden sandals that run tight, and am happy to find that these are true to size (I’m a true 6). Pluses - I can tell they are handmade, there is a spot in the wood for your big toe, and the leather is thick. Possible negative - the “natural” color is not the ivory that is advertised; it is more of a peachy blush. However, I like it better than the stock photos! Got them for an awesome price too, under $60.
These clogs are obviously designed based on expensive Swedish clogs. They fit well and are comfy. However, I've had quality problems with the 3 pairs I've ordered (I kept hoping for a pair in good shape, because they're such a good price). The first pair had some cuts and scuffs in the leather. The second pair had a knot in the wood so there was a lump in the sole at that point. The third pair wasn't bad but the staples looked a bit wonky. At that point I decided to go ahead and invest in the expensive Swedish clogs! I haven't received them yet so can't say if it was a good decision or not. So, if you want some cute clog sandals and don't want them to be a once in a lifetime purchase, give these a try.
Super cute pair of sandals and were very comfortable with great support, but my toes stuck out further than I wanted them to, and I figured a larger size might be too big for me. Returned them.
These are cute but my foot runs a bit narrow and I found these very wide, which is a bummer as the leather will probably stretch some. The red leather is a nice color and good quality. They are comfortable but not as comfortable as my Sven clogs.
I actually preferred the look and height of the Anja clog but after ordering and trying on both the Anja Clog and the Greta Mule (Anja's heeled cousin), I found the Greta was superior. First of all, the 3 inch heel on the Greta is really only 2 inches because the front of the shoe is about an inch high already. This makes the authentic wooden heel surprisingly comfortable and doesn't cause as much pulling on my foot from the heel strap, which was a huge problem on the Anja - VERY uncomfortable. So even thought he Anja was completely flat in the footbed, I could wear the Greta for much longer. Second, the fit of the Greta just seemed to be better for my 7.5 size foot (I ordered an 8).I ordered the natural leather color which is a gorgeous light pink. After only a few days of wearing them, I splashed some water on my new shoes, which created lasting dark splotches. WATER. Even though I went with the Greta shoes, this would also apply to the Anja in natural leather. I was surprised to find the spots did not clear up when they dried. Maybe I just don't know a lot about leather, but I've never had lasting spots from water on my leather, my other leather footwear usually dries up just fine. They must be really untreated leather and very absorbent, which I foresee as a problem since I am a mom. This may not be a problem with the other colors. I contacted MIA to see what I should do about the spots and they recommended a water-proofing leather spray - pointless since they've already been exposed to water, so thanks MIA. I'm taking them to a shoe repairman to see if he can professionally seal them for me.
