This hiking boot shines particularly in terms of comfort and functionality. The FloatPro foam footbed provides excellent cushioning, making each step feel lighter and reducing fatigue during long hikes. Its waterproof feature truly stands out, allowing your child to splash through puddles or navigate wet grass without worry.
The alternative lace closure not only enhances convenience but also allows for quick adjustments on-the-go, perfect for those moments when your child decides to take an impromptu trail run. The reinforced toe cap further ensures protection against stubbed toes, which is a common concern for active kids.
When it comes to grip, the non-marking rubber outsole performs admirably on varying surfaces, from muddy trails to rocky paths. Parents can rest assured knowing their child has reliable traction while exploring the great outdoors.

I am admittedly a Merrell's fan, but that's because every pair I've owned has been perfect for me. I got these on sale for my daughter to have some good hiking shoes and she loves them. She's growing fast and gets lots of growing pains and most kids shoes are not supportive or cushioned enough for impact play. These shoes stopped all her complaints of aching heels and feet. They fit true to size.
Great for grandson to wear in wet weather. Keeps feet dry as he walks to school or plays. Adequate for low level snow too.
Bought these for my daughter who has a disability. Love that they are easy to put on. Come is wide size Comfortable, do not give her blisters on long walks like other models we have tried.
These are not boots. They're not any different than my son's regular tennis shoes. I expected them to come up over the ankle bone since they're advertised as a boot but they're not higher than a regular shoe. It also doesn't say anywhere on the package or shoe that they're waterproof so I'm not even going to try.
Kids thought they were comfortable and rugged for hikes.
Arrived on time and is great. My daughter loves them and they will a serve her well.
Perfect for our 6yo. Pretty weather resistant and has lots of grip. A big win for our boy with wide feet
Unfortunately, these are not waterproof, even though it's advertised as being such, and there's a tag on the shoe that says "waterproof". The minute my daughter stepped into a puddle (she wasn't even jumping), she told me her socks were wet. We checked when we got home and the inside of her boots were wet as well.Disappointed, since everything else about the shoes are perfect. My daughter has wide feet so I got the wide size and she said they felt really comfortable.
