The Merrell Moab 2 MID WTRPF hiking boots are specifically engineered for adventurous kids who love the outdoors. Here’s a breakdown of different aspects of these boots:
One of the standout features of the Merrell Moab 2 is its comfortable fit. The combination of suede and mesh provides ample breathability while still being durable enough to withstand rough play. The traditional lace closure ensures a snug fit, which is essential for active kids.
With the Select DRY bootie waterproof construction, these hiking boots keep your child’s feet dry even during rainy hikes or splashing through puddles. This feature is especially valuable for parents who want to ensure their kids stay comfortable and protected from the elements.
The non-marking outsole equipped with M Select GRIP technology delivers outstanding traction on various surfaces, making them ideal for both wet and dry conditions. Parents can rest assured that their children will have the grip they need while exploring trails or playing around in the park.
These boots are built to last, thanks to the quality materials that resist wear and tear. The ankle-height shaft adds support during climbs and uneven ground, providing extra stability where it counts most.
Finally, let’s not forget about aesthetics. The Earth colorway offers a stylish look that appeals to both kids and parents, making them a fantastic option for any outdoor activity.

Our grandson wears nothing but tennis shoes but he LOVES to go camping and hiking. He also needs the wide size which is not easy to find. These "boots" are not really tall enough for me to call them anything but shoes but the quality is exceptional. He declared them comfortable.
Purchased for my grandson’s 7th birthdayHe loved them as he and his dad do a lot of hikingWe all have several Merrell shoes and boats and these are as all are, great boots
My son needed size 6 hiking boots for his week at Boy Scout camp, which are a tough size to find instore. He tried on a pair of low top Merrell's at a local store and the fit was great, so I purchased these on Amazon. He wore them on a walk around the block before they got packed into his foot locker, and he wore them everyday at camp. He was excited that they were waterproof -- the last night of camp was a big rainstorm, complete with a Tornado warning (one touched down 20 miles from camp), so when they were able to return to their campsite from the shelter he was excited that his feet stayed dry through the puddles. Really happy with the purchase and will continue to buy Merrell's as he grows.
Seems to fit correctly. My nephew wore them hiking with me all day. Said they were comfortable
Good quality leather boots
She loves them. We often go out walking in the woods and these are great for that. Good for everyday use also.
It took my son a few days to break them in. He said they hurt his feet, but once they broke in he enjoyed wearing them on several hikes. They look adorable, too!
I have owned multiple pairs of Merrill products for many many years. They may not necessarily be the best hiking shoes around, but for me, and the way they fit well on my slightly wide and flat feet, they just rock. They last a long time and the waterproofing stays on for at least a couple of years. This by far exceeds my expectations as I live in the Pacific Northwest. So if you have feet like mine, then I highly recommend Merrell.
