These keep my feet dry, warm and toasty on my morning walks. I walk about 2 1/2 miles in the morning down a dirt road and across a pasture. My feet stay dry in the wet grass. Good traction going up and down the hills. All in all they are comfortable and I’m glad I bought them.
Merrell is an excellent brand. I own a hiking shoe/boot that has lasted for years. I wanted a winter boot that would keep my feet warm and dry. Because I knew I would be wearing thick socks, I ordered a size 8.5. It's a perfect fit and the boots are super toasty. If you like outdoor winter activities, I recommend this boot.
Finding a solid snow boot that is both functional and comfortable has been a near impossible task for me, until now!I have chronic plantar fasciitis so my feet are pretty picky on what can be worn without causing pain throughout the day. I also work at a car lot in Utah, so I need boots that can be put through miles of trekking up and down the rows clearing cars after snowstorms. These boots not only fit the bill, but are honestly the most comfortable boots of any style (hiking or otherwise) I’ve ever owned. They do take a little “breaking in,” but I literally just finished an 11hr day of being on my feet pushing snow and my first thought was to come here and give the highest marks possible to this footwear. Nothing short of life-changing. Feet stay dry and warm all day, and I’ve not even come close to slipping once. Worth every penny.
Brought these to Iceland in January to take on an ice cave tour. They were really warm, had great ankle support and were completely waterproof. Great boot!!
After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't sure what I'd get. The sizing is curious since it lists both men's and women's sizing ("13 Wide Women/13 Wide Men"). But I took a shot and these are indeed men's sizes, and they fit true. Very comfortable and easy to put on/take off. I've only tried them on and walked around the house, so I can't speak to their waterproofness or warmth.
Comfortable right out of the box.
I have been looking for great snowshoeing boots and these have been amazing. Feels comfortable on long hikes, keeps my feet dry and warm, and has been on many adventures. I have great traction while walking around the icy town. I have been sledding in them as well and they did great on keep out the snow. Highly recommend!!
Very comfortable at first then I noticed tongue rubbing on my ankle Inside. Then I notice it's bothering my little toe. We're not waterproof and my feet got cold. But I waterproof sprayed them and my feet are dry but cold, added foot warmers and wow I can work in them all day
