When you first slip into the Merrell Men's Moab Vertex Vent CT Construction Shoe, the immediate comfort from the COMFORTBASE contoured footbed stands out. The breathable foam cradles your foot, reducing fatigue during long shifts, which is particularly beneficial for those working in demanding settings.
From a safety perspective, the ASTM-rated rubber toe cap and slip-resistant outsole make this shoe a frontrunner in protective work footwear. The heat resistance feature helps shield your feet against sudden high temperatures, allowing for greater versatility in varying work environments.
Additionally, while the shoe holds up remarkably well under standard conditions, it's worth noting that they may feel a tad larger, so considering sizing options carefully is advisable before purchase. In hotter climates, the breathability, while generally good, may not suffice if you're consistently exposed to direct sunlight.

Always love merrell shoes. Comfortable and durable. This is my first pair of work shoes by them. Time will tell how long they will last. If there like there hiking shoes then i should get a year easy. They fit great and are comfortable. Plus they look really cool.👍
Comfortable. Durable. Looks good.
Tried a Merrell ultra light composite toe, a Merrell slip on and these. These were the clear winner. But also the most expensive. Grip on wet surface is good, grip on oily surface is rather poor. Build is solid, so "Keen like" that I suspect these might be made by Keen. Fortunately the arch isn't like a Keen. The width, toe box and heel cup is about what you will expect if you have owned any Merrell MOAB or similar Merrell shoes. They broke in quickly and are comfortable all day.
Wear these 12 hours a day. They are comfortable and are built to last
This is my 4th set. Company buys us new work boots each year, I buy new ones when allocated. They hold up extremely well. I can go through security screening without the metal detector going off which is a plus.
I work on a golf course and work where there a lot of dew and my feet get wet
Too narrow. Have had good luck with other Merrell shoes. Even though they are listed as wide, not wide enough for me. And I don't have overly wide feet. Quality seemed fine.
My favorite shoe and I walk 9k steps a day. They are heavy (I wear 9.5 wides) but they last a long time (18+ months) with heavy indoor/outdoor use. Rain, snow, dropped hammer these shoes can take anything.9k step a day average18+ months old and new pictured
