After trying other work boots that left my feet hurting and trying different soles for comfort. I saw that Merrell, a hiking boot company came out with their own work boots, I decided to try a pair and see how they hold up. I work in Facility Maintenance, working on conveyors, changing motors, climbing up and down ladders. After a month of wearing the workboots they are extremely comfortable and durable. Light weight, not to heavy and they feel good on my feet, their waterproof and have held up to the heavy work and abrasion. I haven't had a day after wearing them where my feet are hurting. Usually with work boots you got to break them in, these feel great right out the box. I'm impressed, the other work boots I got cost $300 and hurt my feet and lower back. These work boots I got on sale for $80 my feet don't hurt and lower back and knees feel great. I'm glad I tried Merrell for work boots and will be looking to try more from Merrell.
always been a fan of merrell shoe, first time buying the safety shoes, light comfy just great will definitely buying another pair when these are all worn down which will take some time.
I got the 8.5 wide and they feel like 9s, they’re comfy and I’m excited to break them in. Depending on how the next week goes for work I might be exchanging for a smaller sizeThese boots only took 2 days of 10 hour work days to break in. After wearing for about a month, during winter, I’ll probably be keeping a pair of these on hand at all times. These are comfy, grip great in the woods and in trees, have kept my feet warm and dry, and best of all my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. I’m gonna be recommending these to a lot of people.
Durable and comfortable! Currently on 1 1/2 years of wearing these daily in an automotive shop. Most shoes only hold up 6 months. Only downside was a month long break in period where they rubbed the tops of my feet raw. I’ll be buying another pair.
Hard to explain but it feels like the top off your foot is pressing up against a pierce of plastic that’s in the tongue of the shoe when you walk around. But there is not plastic there. Not comfortable at all.I have a pair of hiking Merrell’s size 10 but this pair at 9.5 was longer. I’d get a whole size down.
I bought these boots on July 18. It is now September 27 and I can’t even walk through the morning dew on the grass without my boots being soaking wet. The treads of the boot are peeling off not just from the sides but from the bottom from the edges.. The tongue of the boot was never really waterproof. Even a light sprinkling of water would soak through the tongue and void, and then your boot would be soaked for two days. It’s almost as if it’s waterproof from the inside out instead of waterproof from letting the water in. looked up the warranty it’s 60 days that should’ve been a red flag right there. If you can’t pack a hiking or work boot for more than 60 days probably means it’s crap. I bought these because I bought a pair of Merrell moccasins which went through far more abuse Denise work boots are still waterproof to years later. Don’t waste your money.
Fit was Good. Definitely Wide enough, Comfortable fit!
The Merrill boots are really good overall however, after a few days I had to replace the inner sole with a more comfortable one after standing for several hours. Id likely purchase a 2nd pair as a backup.
