I’m a mail man so I need shoes that’ll hold up for a good amount of time. I walk 10 miles a day for 5 days out of the week. I’ve had these shoes for about a whole year! They out did my expectations! Comfortable. My feet and breath. And with the unique grip at the bottom of the shoe I NEVER SLIP. From now on these are the shoes I will be using for work.
Yet another pair of comfortable, sturdy Merrells. I don't normally wear the mid or high top Moabs but I got these for an extended visit to Minnesota, knowing I'd be shoveling at least a few inches of snow while my relative recovered from surgery. As has been the case for years, they're comfortable out of the box, the waterproofing was excellent and the thick, slip-resistant soles worked in the Minnesota snow. These do have "normal" laces, not the odd elastic some of the other models use. When they wear out, I'll be 'em again, just as I have for the last decade+.
Very comfortable out of the box. Will take a little breaking in, but not bad. I have a narrower foot, and these fit very well.
I sold mine to a guy at work. I like a zip up boots and these arent plus when you put them on you gain like 3 inches in height that's ok if that is what you are looking for. Plus the tongues were flopping out forward and hangin my pants legs up and riding behind the tongue. Other than that they were comfortable. I have other merrells that I like with no issues. The tongue thing was the main issue plus the height I gained made me feel like I could twist an ankle easy. They did have good grip what few times I wore them before my Coworker bought em. We work Security and they do pass metal detectors wich is great. That is information manufactures need to give in the advertisements
I've worn these daily for a year and they are holding up well to every day abuse in my fire and EMS job. They are not showing any signs of falling apart and were a good fit from new. Size is true, even the laces have lasted a year. I typically buy duty boots every 4-6 months so the initial expense is worth it. Highly recommend them.
After switching to the moab2 merrells my feet stop hurting at work. I own two pairs of the hikers one for work and one for everyday life. I also have bought several pairs of the low top hikers. They all look great with jeans and work pants. As for how the merells hold up they have all lasted for a minimum of 6 months to several years
I work at a high school and walk around a lot. Had a Law enforcement officer recommend these. I do love the fit and how they feel but unfortunately these are not made to last. I bought these Oct 2022 and started getting holes in them around May of 2023.
